Ficus problems: the expert responds on Ficus diseases

THE AGRONOMIST ANSWERS ON HOW TO GROW AND CARE FOR PLANTS

I HAVE MOVED MY BENJAMINA FICUS AND IT IS NOT GOOD NOW

QUESTION FROM DARIO

Due to renovations, I had to move a ficus about 10 meters high and placed outside the house. After a few days I noticed that the leaves are drying and turning yellow.

I would be grateful if you could show me a way to relieve the plant and be able to gradually restore it to its previous state.

Thank you

Dario

AGRONOM ANSWERS

Hi Dario,

in order to help you you should give me more information about yours Ficus. Where was he before? Where have you placed it now?

A plant 10 m high, therefore with a certain number of years on its back, cannot be moved from one place to another like any other package. How did you move it? How did you deal with the roots? Did you do a thinning pruning to help her move? However, keep in mind that a period of acclimatization can be normal, within certain limits.

Let me know and if you can send me a photo.
