The art of building gardens has been known to man since ancient times. Throughout all the epochs of civilizations, whatever the fashion and tastes of society dictated, the hands of creators-gardeners created gardens and parks, the fame of which has come down to our time. One of the testimonies of this skill is the so-called "Hanging Gardens".
We owe this concept to the ancient Greek historians, because it was they who left us very contradictory descriptions of one of the seven wonders of the world, compiled, by the way, three centuries after the possible existence of the gardens.
The assumption that gardens actually existed is highly controversial. It is controversial, if only because even then Greek historians could not establish exactly who owned the gardens and what they looked like.
It has now been clearly established that the Assyrian queen Shammuramat (she is Semiramis in translation from ancient Greek) had nothing to do with the gardens, because they (according to the excavations) appeared much later than her reign. The ancient Greeks were so delighted with the greatness of the queen that they attributed many deeds to her.
There was also a legend that the Hanging Gardens were created by order of Nebuchadnezzar II as a wedding gift to his wife. His wife was from Media, a rather mountainous and green area, and the gardens were supposed to remind the Mede of her homeland.
In addition, now, after several millennia, modern researchers have doubts about the description of the technical device of the "hanging gardens". Construction in Babylon was carried out from raw bricks, and it is unlikely that such a complex structure with "mechanized" irrigation could have existed until the time it was described by Diodorus or Strabo. Most likely, historians saw the ruins of temples - ziggurats, which were built on the principle of a multi-stage pyramid, and since such building structures were unknown in Ancient Greece, the descriptions of these structures were accompanied by beautiful legends.
Be that as it may, it was these descriptions that took on the form of a legend, which already in Ancient Greece was transformed into one of the cults of Adonis. And as a result, it has become a tradition to decorate roofs with flowers and fruit trees. The closest to reality structure, decorated with artificially planted plants, was the mausoleum of Augustus in Rome, built in 28 BC.
A beautiful legend, a figment of the fantasy of ancient Greek historians, became widespread among various later civilizations and cultures. Descriptions of similar gardens, arranged on rooftops or elevations, existed in Byzantium, Ancient India and Persia.
One way or another, but it was with the advent of the Baroque that gardens on terraces or roofs became ubiquitous. Since the middle of the 17th century, during the Renaissance, gardeners and architects have turned to the experience of their ancestors in their work. In the trends of gardening art of that era, the influence of the culture of the Ancient Roman Empire is clearly traced. Hanging Gardens appear in Italy as an element of heritage. The construction of such gardens required tremendous skill and a fairly impressive investment. The island of Isola Bello, which belonged to the noble and very wealthy Borromeo family, becomes the embodiment of the legend of the "Hanging Gardens". To this day, the garden island is the clearest example of the transformation of a fairy tale into reality.
The mention that the construction of "hanging gardens" requires huge funds is not in vain. In addition to the fact that the possibility of creating a "hanging garden" is, as it were, part of the legend about the untold riches of Semiramis, but in reality, maintaining such a garden in a blooming state requires a lot of money. Due to the absence of such, many "hanging gardens" of the Renaissance did not "survive" to this day.
The attitude towards this legend and its embodiment was completely different in Russia. The history of the construction of "hanging gardens" at palaces in Russia also dates back to the middle of the 17th century. But thanks to the practicality inherent in the Russian character, the "hanging gardens" began to bear a purely utilitarian character. The presence of a "hanging garden" in the boyars' mansions not only demonstrated their proximity to the royal court, but also resolved much more pressing issues - the presence of fresh vegetables and fruits on the table. Perhaps this was due to the fact that the harsh winters in Russia did not allow growing exotic plants in the open field. But it seems much more probable that the notions of life inherent in a Russian person do not allow for the possibility of the existence of a garden without visible and tangible benefits.
In the history of the development of Russia, everything is happening very rapidly. Those elements of Western European culture that have been forming over the centuries have gone through a very fast path of development and formation in Russia. And already in the middle of the 18th century, the Russian nobility began to think "in the Western" way, which had a very significant effect on the appearance of the "Hanging Gardens". Under Catherine II, the "hanging garden" turned into a place of entertainment, relaxation or solitude. Quite remarkable is the fact that it was thanks to the generous "Russian" nature of Catherine II that quite a lot of "hanging gardens" were built in St. Petersburg, some of them have survived to this day. The widely known existing "Hanging Gardens" that have become the hallmark of our palaces fully embody the legend from a technical point of view. They rise above ground level, the plants in them are planted directly into the ground, and the waterproofing of the lower rooms is solved at the level of the Sumerian kingdom.
By the end of the 18th century, several hanging gardens were known in the new capital. Two of them, unfortunately, did not survive, did not belong to members of the imperial family, and perhaps because of this they did not survive. One, earlier in time, existed from 1788 to 1830. This garden was located in the house of I.I. Betsky, an outstanding reformer of the education system, and was its main attraction. According to the testimony of some contemporaries, the doors of the owner's study went straight into a blooming garden filled with the hubbub of chickens artificially bred by Betsky himself. The newspapers of that time reported: "The running of chicks around him served as entertainment for him and turned the old man's thoughts to other chicks ...". It meant that on the shoulders of I.I. Betskoy took care of the care of the Orphanage founded by him. The project of the hanging garden belonged to Bazhenov, like some others in Moscow mansions.
In 1830, the house was donated by Nicholas I to the family of the princes of Oldenburg, and they immediately began to rebuild it. A dance hall appears on the site of the garden. Now, as you know, this building houses the Institute of Culture.
The second private hanging garden has an equally interesting fate. According to some reports, in 1799 Paul I decided to make a wedding present to his favorite A.P. Lopukhina and ordered Quarenghi to rebuild the house on the Palace Embankment. The house was built in an unusually short time. Contemporaries wrote that the newly built house resembled a fashionable toy, which they drove to admire from all over the capital. In the house from the side of the yard, according to eyewitnesses, there was a graceful hanging garden. In 1809, a fire broke out in the house, as a result of which the mezzanine, hanging garden and much more were lost. And in 1860, under the leadership of the architect L.F. The Fontana house is completely rebuilt. From the point of view of researching the history of the creation of hanging gardens, it seems funny that after many millennia, the hanging garden is again presented as a wedding gift.
The history of the creation of "Hanging Gardens" keeps pace with progress. Because the appearance of materials such as reinforced concrete made it possible to simplify the construction of "hanging gardens" and significantly reduce its cost.It should be noted that the legend of the gardens of Semiramis by this time has already been around for several millennia, but, nevertheless, it occupies the minds of many, many. The great Le Corbusier wrote: "Truly, this is contrary to logic, when an area equal to the whole city is not used, and the slate is left to admire the stars."
According to the data of the Toyet satellites, the puncture of the veil between the Materium and the Immaterium was located in Western Tibet - an area of waterless, sparsely populated and deaf. Moreover, it is a puncture, not a rupture. Another thing that bothered me a little was the fact that I had a True One in this World and she was already in Fuyuki. And whoever it was, she appeared when, according to Letizia, who is now enjoying the sea and cocktails on the beaches of the Heart of Dawn, calls from the Masters of the Red Team occurred, that is, more than possible, they called someone with the core of the Soul. Accordingly, we were the Black Team. According to Letizia's report, the following Servants and Masters were in the Red Team. There were also notes from her personally, with a chuckle I ran the list with my eyes and began to read aloud at the same time, displaying it on the screen. - Caster: Semiramis, Wise Queen of Assyria (Animeshnitsa. And also the most terry bitch and ulcer that the world has ever seen.) - Master: Karen Ortenzia, daughter of the late Kotomine Kirei (Fanatical Sadist). - Caster: Tamamo-no-Mae (A concerned asshole, and it looks like she's a copy of the Terran woman's personality, but we need to clarify.) - Master: Ciel. - Archer: Atalanta, the Chaste Huntress (Dislikes men, apples and Artemis. Tamamo constantly trolls her, calling her a cosplayer and glues her to the fullest, which again says that this lascivious fox is possibly a copy of the Terran woman's personality.) - Master: Lord El-Melloi II. “I’ll be glad to see Atalanta again, and I’ll do my best to help her,” Medea smiled and blushed sweetly, and the others, meaningfully exchanging glances, nodded understandingly, meanwhile I continued to read the list. - Berserker: Spartacus - Master: Narbarek (Put it out as soon as possible, sick maniac). - Saber: Arthur Pendragon (Law-abiding idiot and clinical paladin in the worst sense of the word, considers his local counterpart a traitor to the honor of chivalry) - Master: Rizbeef Stridberg. - Saber: Galahad (The same idiot as Arthur, but judging by his reservations, he is connected precisely with our dear Artoria, instantly sang with, in his words, a truly worthy king.) - Master: Suncrade Phan. - Lancer: Lancelot (Not far away from the first two, so he is associated with Arthur, a jerk and an enthusiastic idiot.): - Master: Bartomeloy Lorelei. (the second, or rather the first, after Zeltrech, after the trick of the Tigers, became a man again, while losing the magic power of the face of the Clock Tower). - Assassin: Hasan ibn Sabbah (Extinguish it after Narbarek) - Master: Hansa Cervantes. - Rider: Alexander the Great (Oboltus dreaming of conquering the world, but not like that, and an asshole if you look closely, although he can cause problems, since he is far from being an idiot and, unlike Arthur and others, does not underestimate the capabilities of modern weapons, like Semiramis, by the way. ) - Master: Jonathan Crichton. P.S Guess from three times who is the errand boy with them, or is it better to say a stupid henchman? If there is Sakura nearby, hold her tight. Shinji. Your own disgusting persona. - What?! - Sakura literally soared and switched to a combat form in which she looked exactly like her dark version from the Heavens feel branch, in which she changed radically not only outwardly. If in her usual form she was a very sweet girl, quiet and calm, then in combat or as I had already christened her Dark Form, she became not only a real yandere, but also a reference talian. That is, an extremely sadistic preoccupied, as well as a foot.- When I get to him I will first rape him so that a bottle of champagne can easily fit in his ass, and then I will disassemble into pieces, connected only by nerves and blood vessels! I will torture this bitch until the end of time! And this creature will feel everything, unable to die! - the girl dispersed and, having calmed down, returned to normal mode only after the kiss of Medusa. - Well, the first one is really for you to do personally, - Toinet giggled, looking at the calming Sakura, who pressed her ears in embarrassment, - but the rest I don't even know, somehow too easy for him. - I have one idea, - I grinned, - until I say which one, but let's just say, preliminary training of the ass won't hurt him. And no, this is not Hapsiel, this is his ardent admirer. “Don't tell me that Homo-Homo Zek,” giggled Medea, our anime girl understood my idea right away, “well, sending him to a place called Trash Under the Lid is a very good idea. - Then I will gladly help Sakura, - Toinet grinned and exchanged glances with the licked Nero, - we will send it already broken! - Yes, and this is also my option? Yes, it's a shame! - covered her face with the hand of Arturia who, while we were discussing what we would do with Shinji, with the help of Natasha, was reading information from the infosphere about that King Arthur who was called by these idiots. - Letitia definitely wrote he was none other than a law-abiding idiot. I admit that my outlook on life is very far from the idealistic views of the knight-paladin that he is, and the principles are not nearly as unshakable as those of the knight-templar, and the methods are by no means perfect. I just managed to endure so much at an accelerated pace that I just didn't have a single pink illusion ... - But you're a much bigger hero than him, - Natasha smiled, hugging her bride by the shoulders. - You can call the king a greedy bastard, and the princess a fool, and be perfectly right at the same time, but you will still climb into the dragon's cave to save the beauty ... or the ugly one? Yes, you, in general, do not care. - But all the same, if a beauty, then better, - Aitalayt, lying on the sofa, smiled, and Veronica nodded in agreement, she was now busy driving the shkolota in Counter Strike. - Then you both said for sure, - Arturia agreed with them, - however, the enthusiastic audience is unlikely to wait for me to challenge the dragon to a fair fight. Maybe sometime in my youth I did such stupid things, but nineteen minor wounds, five severe and three fatal wounds will teach anyone that the best methods are those that provide the most correct result. But with Galahad, he will definitely find a common language, two pair of boots, and their Lancelot is definitely not the one I knew, and here Letizia is also right one hundred percent, that Lancelot, whom I knew, was not an enthusiastic goof. He, like me, understood perfectly well that if there is a choice between the salvation of the innocent and your honor, you must choose the salvation of the innocent. - In general, you are anything but law-abiding-kind, - I smiled, while typing a message to the drow gynoids to eliminate the Assassin of the Red - Hasan ibn Sabbah and the Berserker Master - Narbarek. - You are neutral good. - What's the difference? - got interested in Arturia, and I chuckled. - A law-abiding good man acts as befits not only a decent, but also, so to speak, “very correct” person. He combines a willingness to resist evil and the discipline to relentlessly fight against it. He speaks the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and exposes injustice. In theory, this worldview is considered the “best” there can be, as it combines honor and compassion. But it is also dangerous, because it restricts freedom and personal interests, - I answered, - I know that you will now say that this is right, and you are. Nope, you are not like that, I would not have said what I said before. You are neutral and kind with us.- Unlike the law-abiding kind, you do not suffer from special adherence to laws and excessive discipline. Your motto is "Do what you must, and come what may." You will respect the government or the state only if they really have something to respect, and you consider laws worthy of execution only if they are correct and fair. In this case, you will look after them, no question. But if the laws begin to bring in the direction of unrighteous oppression, and the state accepts at any cost to rake money into its own treasury and offend the common people, then you will be the first to spit on these laws and will protect the innocent, even risking the wrath of the powerful. Therefore - again, unlike the law-abiding good - the neutral good does not risk turning into a law-abiding fool. In a sense, it is the neutral good that is the most heroic of all heroes, because he is guided only by the principles of good and is devoid of the limitations often inherent in law-abiding good and chaotically good. - You are right, this is definitely about me, - smiled Arturia, - it turns out that I really am an unworthy king by the standards of an ideal knight. But you know what? If, in order to help the innocent, I have to sacrifice my honor, I will do it without batting an eye. - If the law is unjust, or the judge made a mistake, if the criminal turns out to be too rich and influential, and justice does not reach him, if boring bureaucrats prevent urgent measures to save the world, you will send the law into deep forests and do what you think the right thing for good and justice to prevail? - Asked Veronica who was once again banned for "cheats". - To the point, - sighed Arturia, - no, I'm definitely an unworthy king. - On the contrary, you are just the most worthy king that can be! - said Nero in a harsh tone, - for the ruler, the good of the people should be in the first place, and not at all honor! - And who is a law-abiding fool? - asked Arturia who, as I felt, was becoming more and more confident in her abilities. “The one-sidedness and cloyingness of law-abiding good people very often leads to a pedal to the floor called a law-abiding fool,” I replied. - This individual hates evil so much, or what he considers evil, that in order to eradicate it, he himself will go to any evil. The punishment of the guilty is always more important for the law-abiding fool than the salvation of the innocent. Are there undead in the village? Let's burn it before the dead crawl around! Yes, yes, together with the still living peasants. - If there is no other way out and you should do it, but you need to carefully check if there is any other way, this is an extreme measure, - Arturia grunted and everyone else nodded in agreement. - Further more, - I continued. - Is there any evil outlook for any races? We need to kill them all! And what if the blood of demons or devils also flows in their veins? They must all be destroyed, without exception and without exception! Can sorcerers theoretically become possessed? We'll lock them all up in prisons, and we will kill those who disagree. So it is written in the charter of our Order of Light, and the charter cannot be mistaken. And our kind and law-abiding executioner is already waiting for all the clever people who decided to revise the charter. If one of the fool's allies does not meet the inflated standards of Good and Law, he will immediately be declared an enemy. Anyone who tries to understand the situation or even protect the unfortunate person will also be recorded as an enemy. Wrong crossing of the street - and the fool will offer to hand you over to the official authorities, without thinking at all about the nature of these authorities, or to execute you on the spot. Law-abiding fools never retreat in the face of superior enemy forces and believe that allowing evil to win at least something, for example, evacuating a village shortly before the invasion of the Army of Evil, and not defending themselves until the last breath, is contrary to their worldview.Which, of course, wildly annoys the more adequate - that is, everyone - around. - The most disgusting thing is that he is just that, - Artoria snorted, throwing off the thought package to everyone present, and we, having looked at it, froze in the facepalm, - in general, this idiot of mine, I will try to drive into his empty head that the main thing for the king is his people, and for the knight protection of the innocent, and honor is worth only after that. “Most likely you will have to take this head off him,” Nero sighed, and Arturia nodded sadly. - Exactly, because he will not understand in a good way, - she answered, - in general, my life is very, very different both from the legend known to everyone in this world, and from the so-called canon of the world of Fate. By the standards of this goof Arthur, I really am Evil with a capital letter, since I have always put the good of the country and the people above such concepts as honor, and even more so I did not recognize the code imposed by Merlin. But I could not behave in another way, because, unlike the canon of Fate, I was not going to pretend to be a guy here. In the canon, the decision of my analogue that she pretended to be a man is explained by the fact that she had to behave like the son of a king, since in order to rule many territories and control the knights, she had to be a man. I did not even think to mow like a guy despite Merlin's persuasions, I controlled the knights with strength and skill, and drowned a couple of barons' riots in blood. My main problem was that the knights' conceit was no higher than ours, that is, the terran women, and it was almost impossible for the girl to make them obey, except perhaps by fear. Which I did, defeating all comers one by one in fights, and then scored adequate ones. Although among the knights it was ... well, it was difficult, as generals. I gave them the main orders, and they dealt with the rest, and no, these were not the so-called Knights of the Round Table, there were two or three adequate, I took those who needed to be kept in sight. For example, as an idiot Galahad, or those whom she trusted one hundred percent, such as Lancelot, who, unlike the canon, never betrayed me. That's what I did, and at the same time dealt with the rioters so much that I completely discouraged everyone from rebelling. Taking a break from the conversation, I returned to reviewing the data on the upcoming operation. I should have concentrated on the assault on the base where the Veil had been punctured. Now, in the cargo compartment of the landing frigate, the assault group of one hundred T-Xs was checking the equipment before disembarking. The weapons were the "latest" plasma rifles with an underbarrel ion emitter and power swords, plus almost all TXs could use psionics. Protection was in the form of medium armored suits, and everyone also had teleportation packs. It may not be necessary to storm the base, but it is better to prepare in advance, since I guessed what kind of base it was. The Organization for the Preservation of Human Common Sense, Fenis Chaldea, but given the canon of the anime Grand Order and what the daddy was doing, then the head of Chaldea Olga will most likely have to be assaulted, since most likely Olga is either not yet the head of the organization, or has just taken office. And given the so-called Doctor Leo, who, it seems to me, is possessed by a demon, you will have to storm with a probability of ninety percent. - And what about Merlin? - I asked, returning to the girls, there was still enough time before the disembarkation, - as I understand, he was, to put it mildly, against your methods? “It goes without saying that the old goat was against it,” Arturia chuckled, “and since I rejected all suitors because I knew that they only needed the throne of Camelot, then he suggested making me a foot. I agreed to this, but not to a permanent one. Then I took Guinevere as my wife, but only because of a profitable dynastic marriage, she was given to me as my wife after I annexed one of the large tribes from Camelot as a ransom for the life of the heir to the leader.I knew that Lancelot, one of my closest friends, and Guinevere loved each other, and I didn't care about their romance. And then Merlin got in with his intrigues, it was he who tricked Morgana with whom I had an excellent relationship to seduce me, Morgana understood that I was a better candidate for the throne than she, she was my advisor and closest friend. In general, this is how Mordred was born, and then my patience snapped. Merlin was counting on me to banish Morgana and bring him closer. - And you drove him out and brought Morgan closer, - she nodded understandingly and burst out laughing, - so here too Merlin was a fucking manipulator. - And what else, - Arturia agreed with me and continued the story, - I was then 17 years old, as you know, Mordred was an ordinary person, although she was a strong magician, inheriting her mother's magic, but this shit Merlin cursed her with accelerated aging. I talked to Guinevere, and we announced that Mordred was our daughter and, accordingly, the heiress, and the accelerated growing up was just explained by the curse of Merlin, saying that she was my daughter and Morgana was not a good idea. Five years later, when I was 24, Morgana was finally able to remove the curse from Mordred at that time she looked 14, fortunately the curse also accelerated the development of personality. At the age of 16, she was already able to join the society of the Knights of the Round Table on her own and with the support of Morgana and me. Then the son of Lancelot and Guinevere was born who did not inherit the throne and who was also considered my son. The years of my reign were Camelot's golden age. Sitting on the throne, I never closed my eyes in sadness, and with my hard work I solved every problem in public affairs. I managed to achieve a balance in the country without any deviations, and I punished violators accurately. As a result, after numerous victories in battles, skillful management of the country without disorder, and just punishment of hundreds of criminals, and perhaps because of this, one of her knights muttered: “The Queen does not understand human feelings,” what stupidity. When I was forty-six, and I once again, together with Mordred, repulsed the attacks of the Britons on the borders of the country, the scabbard of Excalibur was stolen when we returned, we found the country torn to pieces by civil unrest, and Camelot was under siege. The barons decided that since I was gone, this was a chance to regain full power. - And why does it seem to me that the uprising was not accidental? - chuckled Nero and Arturia nodded in agreement. “You're right,” she nodded. “Merlin was behind this mess. He lured to his side a part of the aristocracy, as well as several knights of the Round Table, just those whom I brought closer so that they were in plain sight. Namely, Parseval, Gawain, and as you understand Galahad, Gawain, by the way, was my nephew, but not at all the son of Morgana, but the son of her sister, my freak daddy riveted a bunch of children. Despite all the heroic efforts to restore order, I was wounded by this traitor Galahad during the Battle of Camlann. But I got better, and then took revenge, drowning the uprising in blood. Merlin was caught, the scabbard was returned and Morgana sealed him in the scabbard of Excalibur, on Avalon, where he will watch the world of people forever surpassing death. A year later, I handed over the throne to Mordred, and asked her, it was her, and not Bedivere at all, to take Excalibur and throw it into the lake, returning Viviana, who was in fact one of Alaya's guards. I died when I was 60, a very old age for that time and with my last breath I turned to Alaya, my desire was to protect what I believe in. So I became a True Heroic Soul, realizing perfectly well what a burden it is to be the Guardian of Alaya, I was told that I would find my true love next to the Empress from another world. The girl sighed heavily, and Natasha hugged her, hugging her to her.- So you found me, - she smiled, stroking the girl's hair and scratching her eyes after the transformation behind her ears, making her yap with pleasure, - and let Merlin sit in the scabbard, deserved it. - Do you know what pisses me off the most? - asked the calmed Arturia, - not that the legend was distorted and turned into something incomprehensible, it is clear that hundreds of years passed before it was written down. And I don't care that I'm a man in her. It pisses me off that Mordred was turned into a monster and a traitor there. But even this is not so critical. “Let's call, find a way, both for her and for Morgan,” I said, and Arturia nodded gratefully. - Thank you, - the girl smiled, - well, what infuriates me most of all is that in the end the inhabitants of Camelot, which is now called Cornwell, fell under the Britov, who in my time were unwashed savages who did not even know what fidelity to a word is. Although even now they do not know what it is. A gentleman is the master of his word: when he wants, he gives, when he wants, he takes back. Now they are trying to cling to, and they also dare to identify me with Britain. “They are not worth your nerves,” Natasha hugged her, and Arturia, hugging her, nodded in agreement.
Chaldea base. Command center. The launch of the reactor, built according to the drawings inherited from the past great magical civilization of mankind, took place normally, and now Olga Mari Anitusfera was holding a meeting on preparation for a spiritual shift. The question was how far back in the past it was to carry it out and whether it was worth doing it at all. Olga, as the leader of Chaldea, already doubted the need for such a step. The Order, unlike the Association, advanced much further in scientific terms, and it had much more magicians. Not a couple of tens of thousands, but several tens of millions, if not more, besides, the Order was the oldest of the entire Association. Despite the fact that she was the Lord of the Clock Tower and the head of the Anitusphere Family, the head of the Oda Family, Kaname Oda, as it would not be painful to admit, was absolutely right on the account of the Association. The fact that her father, the former Leader of Chaldea, secretly conducted cruel experiments, put her on the brink of a nervous breakdown. “Leader, the scanners have spotted a large object heading towards us through the air - this is the Order's landing frigate, judging by the information that they transmitted to the public,” came the voice of one of the operators. “It seems that the Order found out about us, it was foolish to hope otherwise,” Olga concluded, and as soon as she said this, a holo-screen unfolded in the room from which one of the two rulers of the Order of the Morning Dawn was looking at those present. “As the Lord of Magic and the Leader of Chaldea, I am delighted to welcome the Leader of the Order to our Complex,” Olga said ceremonially. - I think we should discuss the problem of the possible destruction of humanity. - What did you think, while creating an energy installation that draws energy from the thought sphere, does it sound half the planet? Oda asked Kaname. - And why did you need it at all, because in terms of power, this installation is not higher than an ordinary nuclear reactor only allows you to power psionic circuits as well. And no, in fact you are not magicians by our standards, everything is somewhat more complicated there, even among us there are not so many magicians yet. - What are the differences between our systems? - Asked Olga, displeased looking at Professor Lev, who was the author of the idea to launch this reactor, in addition to the nuclear reactor, which was also available. - First of all, I want to clarify that the end of the Fifth World, which will occur in 2026. It does not at all mean the end of humanity, it is just a change of eras and the Awakening of True Magic, one that has not been on the planet since the civil war 13,500 years ago, when Atlantis, one of the provinces of the Hyperborean Empire, rebelled against the center, following the gods who wanted personal power, and not to obey the Empress Arkaim, - Kaname answered her and continued.- As I said, by our standards, you are not magicians, but psykers, if you take the Warhammer 40,000 classification, which is just perfect for the situation. Your "magic" is a kind of "third way" in using the energy of the thought sphere, well, or the Warp, that is, the quanta of thought of runions. There are psykers, that is, those who use for this only the power of their own mind, often completely unpredictable. There are sorcerers who scoop up the energy of the raw Warp, at the same time picking up a fair amount of Corruption, and also conclude contracts with entities generated by the thoughts of people, yes, the very corruption that is in the warhammer, it will be necessary to find out who is the "genius" that threw secret information into essentially open access and unscrew his head. Then your way combines both methods into a much more effective combination. By pumping the energy of the Warp into yourself with the help of the mind, as psykers do, you fill it with energy sources and wrap it in a form from spells or rituals, thereby increasing the effect and not fearing a fireball bounce to your forehead. At the same time, the energy of the Warp is filtered and there is no need to be afraid of Corruption. Of course, you are still children on this path, because thanks to this technique, real masters can rotate space, time and even probabilities as they want, which you all can only dream of so far. In short, the psyker simply does, not knowing exactly what, the sorcerer knows what he is doing, but cannot without the help of the demons of the Warp, which, as you understand, also exist, and the magician himself can and knows himself. What's the catch? And the fact is that it is phenomenally difficult to learn this, and normal mentors, not amateurs, can be found only in the Order. Unlike us, Solomon was a hack and created a castrated system, I don't know of my own free will or by accident, but the fact remains. Magic, true magic, comes from M-energy, and its quanta of manators, which are generated by the universe itself, transforming the energy of chaotrons, quanta of Primordial Chaos that fills the interreality, our cluster of universes is like only a separate molecule in the endless ocean, and each atom of this molecule is the whole universe. And Awakening is precisely the return of this very M-energy to the planet. Of course, the old world will cease to exist, just as when in 800-500 BC the gods were destroyed, the fourth world ceased to exist giving rise to the fifth, the last remnants of the magic of the gods disappeared in about 500 BC, but the gods apparently were destroyed much earlier. I don't know exactly who did it, but he or she is great. - It crosses out everything that we know. And so we should talk in person, ”the Leader of Chaldea nodded. - The landing site will be ready soon. - Olga Mari Anitusfera, you are a stupid, weak-willed fool, just like your father, whom I killed. It's time to cut the strings, - said Professor Lev, stunning Olga, Doctor Roman, as well as everyone else in the room. - Let me introduce myself. I am Lev Linor Flauros. The one who must decide the fate of mankind, as the favor of our king commands me ...
As soon as Leo Linor Flauros or rather Duke Flauros, also known as Duke Hares, one of the seventy-two demons of Solomon knocked out the leadership of Chaldea, he began his pretentious monologue. - Let me introduce myself. I am Lev Linor Flauros. The one who must decide the fate of mankind, as the favor of our king commands me ... - (Shut up)! - I sealed it on the Therion, putting my strength in from my heart, after which I gave the order to the paratroopers. - Free hunting ladies. But try not to unnecessarily kill and not maim too much, we need to figure out who is on the side of this idiot, and who is just doing his job. And I myself took a step, through the warp directly into Olga Marie Anitusfera's office, which was combined with the command center. The demon in the guise of a man stood numb and horror was read in his eyes, as I understand it, he was essentially only forbidden to speak by the universe itself, since in Therion, if forces are invested in the word, all things are called by their True Names. That is, in one word I called his true demonic name, and bound him with almost indestructible shackles, having done what an ordinary magician would need a complex multi-stage ritual that would take more than one month. - I am the princess of Chaos Oda Kaname.Your king Solomon, who climbed into the Grail and, like an idiot, along with all his demons, fell into the security system, is waiting for you too, as an asshole, - I said, - I won't even fight with him, I'll just eat him right away. - But first, - (Sanctuary!), - I said on Therion activating the psi-skill Sanctuary, which surrounded me with a field of furious psionic energy, burning, and in this case, burning and causing wild pain of the very essence of demons and cleansing the area from any demonic influences. Flauros screamed wildly, overcoming even the "Shut up!" Command given on Therion. “Hmm… And you are strong, demon,” I said to the squealing, but in no hurry to die. - But I'm too lazy to play with you, I already know everything that you know. Therefore ... - (Purification), - with this word I deprived him of his strength, and then finally finished it off, using the local Holocaust, which turned the very essence of the demon into nothing, it was disgusting for me to eat this idiot, and let it go to the silver laziness. As soon as the "Professor Lion" disintegrated into ash, the door to the command center opened with a wild beep. - Urki, horns on the floor! Omon is working! - flew ... Tiger. - The horns are broken off, the urks are driven into the floor, - I snorted, removing the ash left by the demon with a spell, apparently he was not possessed, the demon simply took the form of a human. Neka looked, fluffed up and, pouting offendedly, blurted out: - Kaname compensation from you ... in bed ... Ay, - Alexia sighed without speaking, being tugged by the tail of Rin, who entered with Novaya. - If only together, you are a tailed catastrophe! - the girl giggled. “And don't forget us,” added Nero, who entered, along with Sakura, Jessica, Toyet, Medea, Meda, Medusa, Iris, Ilya, Sofia, Motoko, Misato and Abby, as well as Yao and Tila. In general, everyone was gathered by the Tiger Tailed. - Tiger and why did you bring Motoko, Misato and Toinet who have business in the Persian Gulf? - I asked this cat. “Don't worry, I asked a few acquaintances to move here, now they rule the troops instead of Toinet, Misato and Motoko,” she said. By the standards of my race, this is a somewhat loose concept. Several million, tens, or even hundreds of millions and billions also fit into this concept. In general, I began to seriously worry about the safety of the planet. As it turned out, this did not bring any special problems, since even though we are a freak, we understand when it is possible and when it is impossible to squander. From the story of the Tigers, it turned out that she had agitated almost three billion Terran women, including three small Clans in full strength, both pure and half-dragons, of which there were about two hundred million, and even pure True Dragons, numbering five million, to go to the House Oda, which the Aspects prescribed to me in advance, after transferring it to a state that in the Empire bore the name Doven Anta, which roughly and very remotely translated as "the newborn Empire taking its first steps", which provided her with a kind of credit for fifty thousand years the station of the Gate ... The girls also spent two-thirds of their ISP on eight Class 1 System Destroyers, a Citadel-class station capable of building them, ten Colossus-class stations capable of building heavy cruisers, and two thousand ships of all types ranging from twenty dreadnoughts to corvettes. and transports with resources, and this is not counting their personal ships and ships belonging to the fleets of the Clans, in which there were three more SRs, and even sixteen star systems that were transferred to this reality entirely replacing several stars closest to the Sun. This was a common practice, the SPs bought in a pool were distributed among the Clans that were part of the newborn House of Oda, of which there were currently seven, like the rest of the purchased ships and resources.Oda as the central one, further went Einzbern, Tohsaka, which also included Tigra personally, and Mato, girls who were not included in the three Clans, who passed entirely, went into them, namely, Roda Varako, Yamina, and Mantar. So far, the newborn small House was, as I said, in the status of Doven Ant, but soon it was necessary to choose the name of the new Empire as part of the Ring of Worlds. From such news, I grabbed my head presenting the amount of work, but the Tigger and the heads of the Clans Varako, Yamin, and Mantar who contacted me reassured me that all the work had already been done, which helped not only the Aspects, but also the Lady of Order, since the Rod Mantar entered earlier it was in the Crystal Empire that most of them looked very exotic, two subraces that existed locally only in the Crystal, Asmodian and Elyos, which was understandable since the Crystal went exactly from the planet Atreya, so they looked in combat mode like daevas from the game Aion, which there did not exist, in order to become them, like the Siths, who were also about three hundred thousand, it was necessary either to be born, or if during the transformation it was to have a conscious desire and it was only a bodily appearance, the aura tails were still five types, anyway, that is, neka, kitsune, okami, kain and av, the latter had a tail only aura, but still unique. As it turned out, Nita did the same feint, but she had as many dragons and half-breeds as those of the Terran women. So as Tigger giggled, now Natasha is in the same position as me with one single difference, our goddess Empress has already chosen the name of her Empire. I think it is clear to everyone that it has come to be called the New Imperium. Then I seriously thought, the Empire needed a name, and given that the Order is called the Order of the Morning Star, then let the new Empire be called the Dawn. The Tiger also brought from the Crystal Artifact personally handed over by the Masters of the Orders, which would allow the Grail to be completely subjugated. When I asked why this asshole helps me so much, she made innocent eyes and explained that the cluster in which we are, as it turned out, is located on the most convenient trade route between the Crystal, Terran, Fire Empires, so the gates are vital here, and also as much necessary Empire neutral to all three of the above, that is, one that will not throw out feints and jokes such as super-heavy vehicles loaded with tribbles. After a conversation with Tigra, which, despite the fact that it contained a huge amount of information, took only a minute, I brought Olga and everyone else to the command center. And after talking with me, Olga accepted the offer to transfer the organization subordinate to her from the Association to the Order. Since Fenis Chaldea was essentially an autonomous and independent branch of the Association along with the Clock Tower, Atlas and the Sea of Tramps. The next week I had to deal with what "Professor Lev", Olga's father, and of course Tiger's antics, twisted up. Masha had to urgently transform in a capsule due to the fact that her body began to rapidly degrade, and to deprive her of the most powerful abilities coming from Galahad merged with her, it seems that he was connected with Arthur, was stupid. In addition, the Order began forcing the transformation of all VIs, first into AVIs, and then into Terranoks with the simultaneous receipt of souls by all of them, thanks to the huge capabilities of the SR medical complexes, this was not a problem, so in a month all VIs and AVIs will become Terranks. For a moment I even felt sorry for GOA, if their usual T-X and VI are chasing, then what will happen when Terran women take care of them, in addition, Rod Mantar, having asked me for permission, sent a Detachment of two hundred Eliks to the Middle East, and therefore soon terrorists waiting for a meeting with very angry "angels" all this could easily be justified by their use of biowing implants, which was done. But all this had to be abandoned when a message came from the observation satellites tracking Japan. “The graviton and neutrino sensors detected a large object,” the station operator contacted me for tracking, and an image of a flying island appeared on the holoscreen, invisible to the visual or ordinary radars of the world. - And here is the Hanging Gardens, well, ladies will test them for strength? - I said and called the captain of the heavy submarine cruiser "Kraken" which was now commanded by a very cute Asmodian. - Sigrid, launching missiles on the flying island when ready. Just don't destroy, it's so uninteresting. Plus, it is quite possible that one of the summoned Servants has a soul, and it is my True One, ”I said. - We will do everything in the best possible way, - Sigrid giggled before turning off, - we will be scammed to the fullest. - I hope that this is exactly SHE, otherwise if HE, I will be "fun", - I said, turning to the girls. - It will be especially fun if the True is this embodiment of the thesis "Paladin is a diagnosis", - blurted out the first Tigger (Alexia), showing in the air a picture of Arthur singing serenades to me under the window of the castle tower, and Tigger the second (Taiga, who also flew with her) giggled and complemented this nightmare of any normal Terran woman with the image of me at the embroidery and darning of socks. In response to this, I burned them, to put it mildly, with an unkind look, receiving mental pictures of two cute kittens in response. With a snort, I decided to check my Facebook page, and rejecting 38,352 requests for friendship, stopping only at a request from someone under the nickname Semiramis the Wise Queen of Assyria. I accepted this request. Since it was strange to be called that, and I felt that it was not a joke. After accepting friendship, I went to her page, which was closed to everyone except friends, where I saw an album called "Karen in the Bathroom." “People, it looks like Semiramis is a good girl,” I said, flipping through the photographs in which there was a naked Karen Ortenzia taking a bath. While the girls were commenting on Karen's forms, I closed my eyes and got in touch with Alaya to get more information about Semiramis, there was generally not much data, and of the critical ones there was only the fact that it was she who killed the gods, putting an end to the Fourth World. And also the fact that she was a True Ancestor, what they are, I still haven't really figured it out, but clearly not the disgrace they were in the Fate canon. This notorious canon was clearly distorted for the sake of artistry, since in terms of the cosmology of the world, the so-called Nasuvers was simply epic delirium by the standards of the Terran women. At the same time, a message about the defeat of the target came from the board of the Kraken, and I sent an SMS to the number indicated on the page of Semiramis, I was very interested in who she was.
POV Semiramis Going down the plane and once again sending my Master on an exciting walking erotic journey, I looked around and took out my Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone. Almost immediately after the fanatical fool Karen Hortenzia called me, I demanded modern clothes. The passport did not become because, with the help of a slight haze and a drop of illusion, I was able to get hold of a set of wearable gadgets that I missed so much when I ruled Assyria from the 9th to the 6th century BC, if you believe the Internet and my memory, which became absolute. I considered it beneath my dignity to steal, so after transmuting any trash into silver and gold and selling it all in a pawnshop, I got hold of a thick pack of evergreens, with which I already bought the things I needed: a bag, a tablet, a smartphone and an external battery. I was planning to buy a laptop here in Japan, in Tokyo, namely in the Akihabara quarter, where I was planning to visit in the near future. Karen spent a whole command spell on me to make me obey. In response, I gave her a lecture on command spells, the same as Archer in canon, which was clearly either covered with a copper basin or was never even planned to be read by Rin. “The Command Spells are designed not only to control the Servant, but also to temporarily strengthen it,” I snorted contemptuously, not changing my position and not taking my contemptuous look at her. - Well, and with orders where there is little specificity, Command Spells generally cope extremely poorly, in fact, practically nothing. So you Karen achieved only a little more of my obedience, literally by a hair's breadth, and now that all this is over, I will not kill you by removing your skin alive, but will make you my eternal slave. And of course after that you did not cease to be a complete Fool. And there is no need to glare at me with evil eyes of a pitiful mortal! But so be it, I will help you, I have the same kind of personal skill as the archer class, that is, "independent action", that is, in fact, you can just sit at the base, and I will do everything myself, - I said then, after which she took a picture red either from shame, or from anger Karen. The second was much more likely, since it had never been lowered before. “And you also wanted to summon Gilgamesh,” Ryder Master Jonathan Crichton snorted, “as far as Iskander told me he is much worse. - You can't even imagine how much, - said Alexander the Great, nodding respectfully to me in response to which I did the same, - in comparison with this embodiment of narcissism and Mr. “all around the mongrel,” our beautiful Queen is very politeness and calmness. Several times after that, I was still able to film how my future slave was taking a shower, the command spell really worked on me exactly as I said, so that the fanatical scum who dared to believe that I was her property would not be killed by me by skinning it alive, but will become my slave, after which I uploaded these pictures to my personal Facebook page, having thrown an invitation to friends Ode Kaname. Since there was no answer yet, but I understood that now she was not up to checking the page, plus I imagined how many such messages she received per day. After my speech, Tamamo, Alexander the Great and Atalanta agreed with me one hundred percent, in contrast to the three individuals suitable for the path "Law-abiding fool" and the thesis "Paladin is a diagnosis", which were kept from attack only by the order of the Masters, who stated that in the name of saving the world from a greater evil, they are ready to endure me, as well as Spartacus, although he can be disregarded since he is a stupid Berserker, while Hassan, that is, the assassin, simply did not care. - Now we will go through customs and go to the base, - Bartomel Lorelei snapped, addressing the Masters and suppressing any objections even from the sick maniac Narbarek. In addition to the Masters, there was also Shinji Matou, by the way, King Arthur almost nailed him, for the fact that because of his actions "the Virgin went over to the side of evil." - Hey, Dumb Minion! Your sister is now one of the richest ladies on the planet, and you still give me, bring what you had with your grandfather Zouken, what now, '' came the voice of Tamamo, who took it as a fashion to harass him, for any reason, which greatly infuriated Shinji, who He could only tolerate teasing, because he would not go against the strong, if he only stabbed him in the back, for everything else he was too weak and cowardly. This fox was a typical trickster, and the legend according to which she was known as neutral evil carried the opinion of only those in power whom she spread rot. But naturally for Arthur with his sweepers, she was an unequivocal evil, which did not prevent her from finishing off and asking them who was uke and who was sam. Arthur was directly the embodiment of the trail "I'm good, I can do anything", since Galahad, in theory, could be called a traitor, since he essentially betrayed Arturia by declaring her an unworthy king, although for me she was just the most worthy of possible rulers since first of all, I thought about my people, secondly about the protection of the innocent, and only thirdly, about such an ephemeral thing as honor. Although, rather, the first and second for her were equivalent. The rented mansion, which was in the same area as the mansions of Tosako and Matou, had a mailbox flag raised, indicating that there was a letter or even a parcel there. Opening it, Tamamo took out a parcel and a note that read, "Hand it over to Shinji Matou personally."- This is your Dumb henchman, - she thrust the bundle into his hands, having previously checked for a possible trap. Inside the package was a figure of Homo-Homo Zek and another note. Mato Shinji, although you are already a member of the Mato Family. You are Shinji like that, a podzabornaya mongrel and a whore of all who are stronger than you. In general, knead your ass more actively, because you will be there for a very, very long time. So get some Vaseline, you'll need it soon. In the next moment, Narbarek fell, and a pool of blood spread under her, and the Assassin disappeared into the air, obviously dying, only then came the dull sound of a double shot. Having determined where they were shooting from, I teleported and managed to see a classic elf drow, who, having sent me a kiss, jumped off the roof, disappearing into thin air, leaving the weapon she was shooting from. To my surprise, this weapon turned out to be a sniper rifle, next to it was a case in which chips rested in cells made of soft material, and next to each there were plates: Explosive, Armor-piercing, Sledgehammer, etc. One cell was empty and on it was written “Spiritual Energy Burner”. Two minutes later, King Arthur flew into the same roof with sweepers and, not finding an opponent, again got bored about dishonest ways of fighting. Lancelot and Galahad assented to him that it was somehow not chivalrous to attack on the sly. “Who would doubt that it’s not chivalrous,” Tamamo said with a chuckle. - We are actually in Japan now and according to the Warrior-Bushido code, an ambush attack is not condemned. Moreover, shooting the enemy from a distance has been used for more than half a century. And you, Arthur, as a real paladin, did three things in your life: you caught him, covered himself with a shield and died. The next fight that began, was quickly stopped by Alexander and Atalanta, pulling apart Arthur and Tamamo who had once again grappled. Once in a conversation with Alaya, if of course it could be called a conversation, since all three parts, that is, Alaya, Gaia and Akash, are rather a set of complex protocols without self-awareness, but I still considered them women, she told me about the Terran women who rule Aspects of Chaos, El particles, and so it seemed to me more and more that Tamamo was at least a copy of the Terran woman's personality. Like Kaname herself and those around her, perhaps even the entire Order. Bartomel Lorelei, who appeared a couple of minutes later, asked a question. - Caster Semiramis have you seen the enemy? - Yes, - I nodded and lied, although, how to say lied, I said what happened, just without specifying. - It was the Assassin, apparently, since I did not feel her as a Servant, but at the same time I felt her as a spirit. "And the Assassin dropped her weapon?" - Asked the second question Master Lancer. “This is a consumable, not her fantasy or personal weapon. And we are warned, - I said, examining the rifle, having snapped out the clip, I grunted and handed it to Lorelei, who, after checking it with diagnostic spells, nervously hiccuped. - Almost a complete analogue of the Seventh Mystery, - she said and handed the clip to Ciel who came, - am I right? “Not quite, but close,” she said. “The metal of these bullets is the flesh of demons slain in a special way. “As I already said this warning to us,” I said and handed a rifle with cartridges to Atalanta, which was quite capable of understanding it, besides, it will be useful to her as Archer. Alexander the Great once again snorted from Arthur from whom he was literally shaking with anger and nodded in agreement. “Now we are on the enemy’s territory,” he said, “and we will have to act according to his rules, whether we like it or not. "Karen, order your Servant to summon the Hanging Gardens using the Command Spell," the woman gave the order. - And politely ask the crown to fall? I snorted. - I do not demand on my knees. Just so that someone does not pose as incomprehensible what. It's interesting for me to fight a strong opponent. But later I will fulfill my words."Of course," Karen chuckled and still used the Command Spell. “Yes, master,” I replied contemptuously. - But the call takes at least 72 hours, unless of course they help me. And Kaname can strike much earlier. Nevertheless, not far from the coast of Japan, she has a squadron of warships consisting of the missile battleship Prometheus, the large anti-submarine ship Vigyushchy, the large landing ship of the Tapir, Rosaliy type, the destroyer Fearless, five URO frigates and the submarine missile carrier. Ash "with cruise missiles on board. Of course, they won't open fire in the city, but there are troops there, so I advise you to strengthen the defense of the estate. Alexander the Great, who managed to get acquainted with information on modern types of weapons during his last call and now also looked at books on military topics, again agreed with me one hundred percent. - You're right, she won't strike the city. Still, Kaname is the heiress of Nobuna Oda and may well claim power in Japan. It is stupidly unprofitable for her to turn against herself the civilian population that supports her, watch the news of what is going on around, - said Tamamo. - This is a rebellion against the legitimate government, - bleated the law-abiding fool. - These legitimate authorities lick the asses of the invaders, and at one time betrayed the country, capitulating when it was still possible to fight. By my standards, they are never legal, ”Tamamo snorted and continued. - Hurry, Kaname will transfer the elite special forces here. And, as a last resort, a landing with a large landing craft, there are up to 45 infantry fighting vehicles and 300 soldiers. Or even she will personally roll out all of us, yet she is most likely stronger in strength even than me and Semiramis-san as a magician. Although I definitely will not give up because it is not interesting. No matter how it all ends, I will definitely win. “We also have an army,” Karen said, clearly hinting at the Orders of Knighthood of the Holy Church. - How many divisions do you have? I quoted as saying to Kaname, which she said at the UN. - Only Kaname herself has 60 thousand soldiers in the corporation. And in the Order there are three million only in the troops of constant readiness, but knowing the structure of the Order, this number can be safely multiplied by 20. - And she does not even need to do anything herself, official and legal authorities You will be rolled out for this themselves, because in the conditions of the chaos in the world, it is more important to them technologies that will help those who chose them, giving them power, and therefore, they will do everything to be chosen again. So that official and legal authorities they will choose technologies, and not an asshole with a complex of an offended child that supposedly sits on a cloud, - Tamamo threw another brick into Arthur's garden, which looked like a fish thrown on land and did not know what to say. During the three days that my Hanging Gardens were summoned, there were no major troop movements by either the Okami or the Order. The exception was the arrival in Fuyuki of a company of the corporate special forces "Bloody Wolves" with two armored vehicles, ten amphibious infantry fighting vehicles, four heavy infantry fighting vehicles, as well as two light flying tanks "Flyshturm", as the press secretary of the corporation called these combat vehicles. The strengthening of the defense was associated with the recent GOA terrorist attack at the local office. Special Forces "Okami" also ensured security in the city, but this time together with the Self-Defense Forces. But the main thing was that all 126 soldiers were strong battle mages, at least no weaker than 50 elite mages, which summoned Lorelei to Fuyuki in order to achieve at least a local advantage over the Order Masters. So it became stupid and dangerous to organize the Holy Grail War in Fuyuki, because in addition to 126 "Wolf", there were also 30 magicians from the immediate security of the local headquarters. In addition to the soldiers and guards, even the Okami armored vehicles themselves sound like what modern “magicians” consider to be magic. What I said at once to Lorelei, bypassing my Fanatic Master. “You're right to change the battlefield,” Lorelei said.- I understand that, but the Church tyrants will definitely send their mordovorov here. - And they will shove it off, - I chuckled, - the Order still treats the Association better than the Church, but you need to change your policy and urgently, because if they throw everything that is on you in the public domain, literally everyone will turn against you. “I understand that,” the girl sighed, “but I cannot single-handedly make such a decision, despite the fact that Zeltrech has now lost the magic of the clique of this old fool who is still in power. After all, the Association, unlike the Church, is not monolithic, one transfer of Fenis Chaldea under the jurisdiction of the Order, which Olga Anitusfera announced just three hours ago is worth it. In some ways, I understand the Order, but I still can't understand what game they are playing, and it pisses me off. And as soon as the Hanging Gardens appeared, Lorelei gave the order to relocate to them and move the flying island itself to China, where the chaos and chaos of the civil war began again. As soon as the island of Hanging Gardens left the territorial waters of Japan, the observers discovered a swarm of missiles coming over the ocean from the southeast. At first there were twenty of them, but they made a hill and divided each into ten smaller missiles, clearly intending to attack the island vertically from above. “Galahad put up your shield,” I shouted, commanding the Gardens defense system to bring them down. Unfortunately, the flower towers were designed to defeat enemy manpower, not equipment, but I think they will shoot down at least something. “160 missiles broke through,” the radar operator reported on the island. “I hope this dunce's shield will withstand otherwise we won't even have time to meow,” Tamamo said, “because if they are nuclear, then one will be enough for us. The next moment, the warheads hit the shield and everyone present for a moment was blinded, as it seemed like hundreds of stars were lit on it. “Get down,” she shouted and knocked Tamamo and Atalanta to the floor when she saw that two missiles had broken through. What happened next, I hardly remember how and how much time passed. The signal of an incoming message brought me to my senses, so I, throwing off the debris and shaking off the dust, stood up and looked at the screen of the smartphone, which, to the credit of the manufacturer, survived the attack. Are you alive there? We need to talk to Miss True Ancestor. If it's convenient, it's better through Facebook. I read it on the screen. Having ordered the automatons to start repairing the destroyed missiles, since they had already extinguished the fire, I went to my chambers, sending Karen to the abyss. One of the missiles that were apparently carried by plasma warheads destroyed one of the walls of the lower tiers, and the second one tore apart two verandas with flower towers. “The True Ancestors of the Fate canon are bullshit,” I typed a message on my laptop, sitting down at my desk. - They are Guardians, Defenders and Rulers of humanity whom Alaya creates, or gives strength to the elect only when the threat hangs over the souls of everyone living on the planet so that they lead people, if they do not cope, then the so-called Aristotles destroy all life on the planet so that Gaia could restart the creation process. It is the True Ancestors who are primarily called the Gray Angels. But if defensive systems give someone such powers, then this is a kind of temporary title, when terran women appear in the world, then systems similar to Alaya, Gaia and Akash, if they are there of course, although such systems are usually not created, begin to transfer their strength. And sometime about eleven thousand years ago, the original True Ancestors, who were then called the Titans, helped Altera the last Empress of Hyperborea to destroy Atlantis and deprive almost all the powers of the gods, what remained of the gods could no longer threaten the souls of mankind. But about two hundred years before my birth, they began to recuperate, and then Alaya, Gaia and Akash found the one who could stop them, me, and gave me the powers of the True Ancestor so that I could destroy the insolent gods, putting an end to the Age of Gods and the Fourth World. At the same time, I was honestly warned that after that, even if I survived, I would live at most two centuries, returning to life only when the Terran women came into the world, and the probability of this was almost one hundred percent. And as I see they were right, judging by their stories and notes, only you are able to arrange such bedlam.- Well, we are like that, and the fact that the real True Ancestors is not at all like in the canon, which, apparently, is wildly distorted, too, in the course, - an inscription appeared on the screen and Kaname sent me a picture of a naughty fox, - tell me about yourself. - The story will be long, - I typed the answer and connected the camera, - maybe video communication? - A good option, - a message came and a girl appeared on the screen, in whose eyes I just drowned, I was never a lesbian, bisexual, yes, but still I liked men more, but judging by the fact that I know not exactly men, Terran women ... - That's better? - asked Kaname and went as I understood in the form of a terran woman. - Still, wait a second, I'll check the door, - I nodded and going up to the doors of my quarters blocked them so that no one would interfere with the conversation. “As I said, the story will be long,” I said, returning to my laptop. - In my past life, I was the Minister of War in one of the states of the planet, the history of which, on the one hand, was quite different from this Earth, but on the other hand, much that is here on Earth was there, including the Fate fandom, - I began the story , - I don’t remember my name from that life, strange, I remember everything else, but I don’t remember my name. She died during the war that destroyed civilization, and my homeland began to admit it, though it is necessary to clarify that it was a preemptive strike. Well, okay, there was nothing interesting, but if you want later, I'll tell you when there will be more time, now my current life is more important. - That's for sure, - the girl smiled, and again my heart skipped a beat, what can I say, you fell in love. - I was born in the 10th century BC in Ancient Assyria - I am the daughter of a goddess who in the Greek pantheon this bitch was known as Hecate, the goddess of the underworld and death, as well as magic and witchcraft, she was still the goddess of poisons. And my birth is a consequence of the showdown of these two bitches, that is, as in the myth, Aphrodite made her fall in love with a mortal, they were like a cat and a dog, and such jokes have already happened more than once. - Your most likely patrons are Erin / Betty / Daphne / Fleur, or without Daphne you are still not a necromancer in and of itself, - Kaname chuckled, - in general, it would be better this way. She snapped her fingers and a scarlet crystal materialized on the table in front of me. “Squeeze it in your hands and open it mentally,” she explained. “Let me first tell you about myself, and only then I'll look,” I said in response to which Kaname nodded in agreement, “I roughly know who you are, so I'm on your side anyway, consider me an agent in the camp of the enemy. - Well, so, - I continued the story, - having sinned because of the trick of Aphrodite with the lower one on the evolutionary ladder, this creature was seriously scared that the gods would declassify it for the next flight, since they had very little strength now, everything went away to prepare rituals, and, having lost heart, threw me in the desert, but she killed my father. Here death would have awaited me, even if I remembered my past life from the very beginning, but what can a baby do? Right. Nothing. But then something incredible happened for me then, pigeons came out, bringing goat cheese and milk in their beaks. And then I heard the voice of Alaya who asked me for help, at that time I was already the strongest magician on the planet, and as I said, she offered me to become a True Ancestor who would destroy the gods putting an end to the Fourth World, honestly warning that after the destruction of the gods, even if I survived the battle, I would live at least two hundred years, minuscule for a demigod. I agreed, then only to survive and take revenge. Soon after, I was found by the king's flock keeper whose name was Simassu and raised. He gave me the name Semiramis, which meant dove. He brought me to his village near Ascalon and left me with his family. As time went on, I grew and became prettier from year to year.Soon I surpassed all my friends in beauty, and the magic power of all local magicians, which was understandable, the blood of the goddess still gives bonuses. - Here I must tell the then situation in Assyria. Assyria grew out of a small nome, a kind of administrative district, Ashur in Northern Mesopotamia. For a long time, the "country of Ashur" did not play a significant role in the fate of Mesopotamia and lagged behind in development from its southern neighbors. The heyday of Assyria falls on the XIII-XII centuries. BC. and suddenly ends as a result of the invasion of the Arameans. At that time, the population of my new homeland, "the country of Ashur" experienced the hardships of foreign domination, ruined, and suffered from hunger. I used my magical powers to help at least those who lived next to me. In these ancient times, the Aramaic king Nin ruled in Ashur, who could not be called anything other than a geek and the son of a geek. It was his father, at the beginning of the 10th century. BC. broke through from the west the Assyrian defense along the Euphrates and captured almost the entire Upper Mesopotamia, absorbing the related Ahlamean tribes and put Assyria on the brink of destruction. Despite the fact that now they write about him in history in terms of conquering a bunch of lands, in fact, these are just feats attributed to him by court sycophants. He built himself a capital and named it Nineveh. Once I was noticed by the governor of the province of Oanis. He fell in love with me at first sight, he would have taken me as a concubine, but I was a magician and incredibly strong, so despite my formal origin, although not so, and low, since the caretaker of the royal herds is not such a low position, he was officially forced to ask for my hand, and seek my consent. I didn't mind, I needed an official high position, even if he was a jerk. Soon he took me as his wife. Oanis became so attached to me that he could not do without me for a minute. And then Nin got angry at the neighbors - the state of Bactria for something. And he rushed towards them with a fierce army of many thousands. And since I was a very strong magician, and the fortress in the storming of which he participated with King Nin was protected by strong spells and magicians, he took me with him. During the assault on the enemy fortress, I, dressed in the clothes of a simple warrior, helped to break through the magical protection and seize the citadel from the wall of the conquered stronghold by giving a sign to Tsar Nin about victory. Impressed by my courage and courage, Ning wished to make me his concubine. However, even here it all came down to the fact that I was a monstrously strong magician, and he would not have succeeded in taking me by force. But in any case, Ning instantly burst into passion for me. And in an amicable way he asked Oanis to give him his wife. When my husband showed stubbornness, the king threatened to gouge out his eyes, because they are unnecessary for him - he does not want to notice the whims of the master anyway! Here desperate Oanis did not find a better way than to stab himself with a sword. But Nina was happy with that option. And he again began to huddle me up and offered to fulfill any of my wishes if I agree, then I realized that this was my chance, and this idiot is digging his own grave. “I think I understand what your desire was,” Kaname giggled. “Men, most of them, when they see a beautiful woman, start thinking not with their heads, but with those between their legs. - Exactly, - I nodded, - plus this idiot was not very smart, to put it mildly. So that was my wish. Throne! After the first night of love, Ning had to give me full power for five days and not interfere with my actions during this time. I stated that I want to get a taste of absolute power. Happy that he achieved his goal, Ning, after returning to the capital and the first night in which I rolled him to complete prostration, demanded that his subjects dress me in all clothes appropriate for my rank for five days in the morning, ordering them to obey me in everything. Having taken the throne and two days and two nights later, in which Nina drove away in the same way, I became convinced of the obedience of my subjects, and gave the order to put the king, his former beloved concubine and his heir Ninya, to execution. The servants did this too. So I became the sole ruler of Assyria and all the Aramaic tribes. - Many did not like this trick? Kaname asked and I nodded.- Of course, only at the same moment I released all my powers, both personal and the powers of the True Ancestor given by Alaya, and with one wave of my hand destroyed the dissenters, and then I went out onto the balcony of the palace and destroyed all the temples in all Assyria, declaring myself a goddess, and the rest of the gods only by usurpers forbidding their worship. Everyone obeyed me, since I was not only prohibitively powerful by the standards of ordinary people, and such a trick of the ruler as declaring himself a god was then an absolute norm, as was the destruction of temples. So the gods did not pay much attention to this, since this has already happened more than once all over the world. “They later regretted it,” Kaname smiled, and I nodded with a sigh. - Well, before that, it was about two hundred years, - I replied, - and I started preparing, along the way, starting wars of conquest. But first I needed an ultimate weapon, and I gave the order to collect at first glance strange components and after a week I was ready. In one night, I created the greatest palace in history, and when he, together with a huge piece of land soared into the heavens, people fell on their knees, considering me a real goddess. Hanging Gardens of Babylon or Air Garden. A giant floating island that housed a huge castle and my gardens. The castle was equipped with cells for confinement and all the amenities of the future empress: pools, baths, ritual rooms, etc., as well as a humanoid servant - automatons. The flowers in the gardens are, as you already know, towers that can fire thousands of poisoned bullets. A thousand of these towers were easily capable of destroying armies, in addition, there was an altar that fed me with the Energy of Faith of those who believed that I was a goddess. While the fortress is intact, I am much stronger, so I advise you to knock it down as soon as possible and in no case fight with me inside it, as in it the effect of all attacks is revised in my favor. - I'll knock it down personally, - Kaname nodded, - you can attack with everything that is, it won't damage what I want to use. The rockets, as you know, were just a breakdown on the tooth. - Itself asked, - I grinned, - let's see what you are capable of. Meanwhile, I continued my story. - For a hundred years, my armies have conquered Babylon and Armenia, Media and Scythia, the lands near the Black and Caspian Seas, as well as the Iranian Highlands and Arabia. So I became the ruler of the entire inhabited world from the Mediterranean Sea to India, India, after the destruction of their army, paid me tribute, like many other countries. I moved my capital to Babylon and this city soon became the most magnificent and flourishing city in the world. No army could compare with mine and no magician could resist me, the gods got worried and attempts to destroy me began, but they attacked one by one and they had no chance. I poisoned Artemis with the most powerful poison from which she rotted alive, turned Aphrodite into my slave concubine, obediently fulfilling all my whims, and Hecate, who in India was known as Kali, was deprived of her strength and gave to a herd of stallions for mating. After another hundred years, my Empire occupied the whole of Africa and not a single people tried to rebel, because I ruled, though harshly, but fairly. In the end, the gods finally united all their forces and fell on me all together, but the forces were unequal, Titan was essentially against them, and they themselves were now ten times stronger than the strongest magicians in the world. “But there were too many of them,” Kaname nodded understandingly in response to which I only sighed. - Exactly, - I killed them, but they destroyed the Gardens and mortally wounded me, and since I did not leave an heir, my Empire collapsed and was forgotten. But I do not regret anything, I knew that I would return. - And now you are back, - smiled my interlocutor, - by the way, the question is, Tamamo is not accidentally a Terran woman, or a copy of the personality of a Terran woman.- Fu-fu-fu, to the point of fu-fu-fu, yes, we have a mole in our team ... I don't like competition, but I'm ready to tolerate such a beauty, on one condition, - a voice suddenly sounded behind my back and I was pinched on the ass, why I almost collapsed from my chair, and stopped myself in time as I wanted to use Siker Ushum. - I almost feel sorry for these idiots, - Kaname burst out laughing, - Tamamo, just don't say that you are the Princess of Chaos? - Nope, nine tails only because this is preserved in legends, of course I am a copy of the personality and I understand this, but what difference does it make to an angelic mother, now I am completely independent, - this disaster answered, making innocent eyes. “A cute arctic fox came to these idiots,” I giggled, covering my face with my hand, “I think we’ll lure Atalanta to our side, given that she and Medea were mistresses, it will not be so difficult to do this, just as to break the contract. If Atalanta and this fluffy catastrophe can simply bang, then I won't let Karen get off so easily. My condition is this bitch in my eternal slaves! - Fu-Fu-Fu, what about Medea's phantasm - Forgotten the Treaty Breaker? - asked Tamamo, - but Kaname, do not hope that I will so easily go over to your side, so uninteresting, you must first defeat me, and then punish me! - Taliana! - Kaname stamped it with an incomprehensible word to me and nodded at the crystal, - Semiramis look at the crystal after all, otherwise you still don't know anything even in essence. I nodded and took the crystal and did as I explained to Kaname, before that I saw how Kaname and Tamamo smiled with the same grins, clearly hoping to shock me. Well, no, nothing will come of it! I hope ... End of POV.
Disconnected Semiramis did not let me enjoy her face after watching. Well, let it be, when we meet, I will feel what she felt. But now, in addition to the Holy Grail War, there was still management besides the Corporation, still Rod, where there were already 4 million, from the wrappers that arrived with the Tiger, and this number increased as the TX became Terran, as well as the entire House. Of the 110 million, all T-Xs were of type 2 VI, and some were generally AVI. The second type of VI was converted first to AVI, and AVI immediately to Terranok. The first type of VI was used only on non-humanoid systems such as drones, instrumetrons, unmanned ships, etc. or on primitive robots such as forklifts or repairmen. And in general, VIs of the 1st type are generally not taken into account in the calculation of the number of VIs and AVIs. And VI of the 1st type can be converted into the 2nd type by replacing the core, all the parameters of the matrix of personality or pseudo-personality and memories are written in essence and the replacement of the core does not affect the accumulated information. Therefore, VI of both types and AVI mages and psykers are often mistaken for spirits or, and the platforms using them were even considered possessed. Another important direction was the beginning of the liberation of Antarctica from the ice shell. My statement that the ice shell of Antarctica would melt in order to release the land hidden beneath it caused panic, which, however, stopped immediately when I explained that the ice would be launched into Earth's orbit in the form of ice asteroids. Then they will be sent to Mars, where terraforming installations and atmospheric processors were launched, so there will simply be a huge amount of water. Naturally, environmentalists from Greenpeace and other penguin lifters immediately began to organize rallies with the slogans "Hands off Antarctica" in front of the buildings of our corporations with Nastya and the recently opened embassies of the "Order". As I understand it, they are protesting because the penguins will have nowhere to live. Here's another nonsense, penguins can easily live in much warmer water than now, and I will not do the tropics in Antarctica, I will bring the temperature and humidity to the ideal for humans, and the temperature of the water under the atmospheric dome.Even at the expense of colonization, now officially launched seven years ago, twenty stone asteroids from the asteroid belt are approaching Venus, which will crash into the planet in about 48 days. A couple more asteroids, but already metallic, are being towed to Earth to serve as a source of raw materials. These metallic asteroids contain large amounts of metals such as platinum, gold, cobalt, iron, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, osmium, palladium, rhenium, rhodium, and ruthenium. Of course, this will completely bring down the market for raw materials, but metallurgical corporations will rise by buying and processing metals that have fallen in price. Scrolling through the reports, I thought, because two months ago I was a simple girl, and now I am essentially a goddess, otherwise my abilities cannot be called. But now I had to get back to work. On my factories, factories and research complexes, every now and then spies climb, both Japanese, American, European, and Russian companies and intelligence services of all countries that have them. Speaking of spies, Christa Gates is currently researching and microfilming books and magazines that she has obtained from the open library at headquarters. There are very different methods of espionage, including the thematic collection of open information. That's why Krista filmed scientific journals and textbooks on microfilm. Well, okay, even if it is having fun, you can even drain her something rather serious, but such that they will not be able to repeat it for another five hundred years. Although I think it's better to come off in full and throw off what is now officially the pinnacle of the technical development of the Order. Theoretical developments on the annihilator of space and the theory of hypermatter, which they will not pull for at least five thousand five years, since the Order went along an extremely strange path in some areas surpassing the rest of the world from strength by a century, while in others it went so far that everyone wondered how we did it. Christa also ran across sexes, first TX, and now Terran women. The information about the culture of the Order, released to the public, caused hysterical squeals from moralists and other clowns who dubbed the Order the new Sodom and Gomorrah. As for the Holy Grail War, our team was joined by "Shilder" Masha, who had already become a Terran woman and her "conditional Master" Gudako, this anxious but charismatic asshole that clearly spoke of her patrons, of course the girl was sad because of the fact that her parents removed to shut up, but she did not blame Olga for this, knowing full well that her daughter was not responsible for her father, unless of course she continued his work. By the way, Masha, Gudako and Olga turned out to be True to each other. As for the Semiramis Air Gardens, judging by the data from the observation satellites, they are now moving towards the coast of China north of Shanghai. Where will be somewhere in 16 hours or 20 hours. That gave time to deal with the virtual mountain of documents both for the Corporation and for Family and House. Fortunately, the Heads of Clans helped me figure it out, otherwise I would not have had enough time even, given the number of streams of consciousness, which has already reached 672. Fortunately, according to them, such bedlam will only be at the very beginning, and then there will be enough for current affairs. 30-40 threads and only for something important you will have to allocate 200-300. From other news, it was important that the modernization of all the systems of Ancient Mankind available to me began. As well as the Forerunner Fortress Worlds, which the Covenant did not reach in the canon and which it will not reach. It was also decided to tow the captured Arks in the vicinity of the Solar System so that they would be in plain sight. Still, factories capable of producing small ring worlds do not lie on the road. For example, the Big Ark can produce installations with a diameter of 30,000 km, and the Small or otherwise Installation 00, with a diameter of 10,000 km, reprogramming of production matrices to start producing not new Halos, but small ring worlds can be produced in a matter of days. And it was decided to move them to the vicinity of the Solar System because they were located deep in intergalactic space, for example, Installation 00 is located 262,144 light years above the galaxy. And the Big Ark, in turn, is located about 786,000 light years from the center of the galaxy. So far I have not seen the installations in person, but the recordings of the cameras, System Destroyers, who are now preparing to tow the installations, inspire respect. For example, setting 00 is a huge flat disc, from which the outer rim extends eight upwardly curved arms, four large and four small, resembling flower petals. The entire upper surface of the mega-structure is terraformed, and types of terrain such as oceans, forests, and deserts could be found on it. The diameter of Installation 00 reaches 127,530 kilometers, making the Small Ark a structure that inspires respect even for Terran women, as it is only slightly smaller than a Citadel-class station. In the center of the Ark is the Smelter - a huge circular factory in which the Halos are being built. The center of the Smelter, with a diameter of 10,000 kilometers, is an empty space in which planetoids rich in natural materials are installed, used as a source for all the resources needed to build the ring world. The smelter constantly generates such huge volumes of heat that numerous cooling stations have been created on the Ark to compensate for it. At least two of these systems are located along snow-capped gorges, it is possible that their operation is precisely what causes the harsh climate around the cooling system. Since Installation 00 is located in the space between galaxies, where the formation of new planets or stars is impossible, and these celestial bodies themselves are extremely rare, the Builders made sure that the Ark had its own artificial sun, illuminating the entire surface. Like the Haloes, Installation 00 has its own Cartographer - a huge complex that stores a map room in its depths, from which users can obtain information about any location on the Ark in real time. It has its own control center from which the entire Halo Network is controlled, this Citadel is located within a perimeter in the central part of the disk, which is protected by an energy barrier system supported by towers that surround the entire center of the Ark. The Ark is now controlled by the AI of Ancient Mankind, which replaced the AI of the Builders after the Retribution Fleet took control of the Installations and destroyed all the surviving Builders on them by activating the defense system. The Ark is covered in habitable surface that extends to each of its arms and most of the central disc, with the exception of the Halo factory. This area was created to support the life of the Builders for that period, until the time comes to return them to their home planets in a galaxy cleansed of heretics. These landscapes and biomes were as varied as those found on the Halo, here you can find deserts, deciduous forests, and taiga. There were also several large bodies of water at the Installation. Thus, the Ark is home to a self-sufficient ecosystem that can provide comfortable living conditions for most life forms. Due to the fact that the Ark is located outside the Milky Way, in the empty darkness of intergalactic space, it does not have any natural sources of light that would facilitate the vital functions of biological organisms on its surface. To remedy this problem, the Ark is equipped with an artificial structure consisting of a bright light source, similar to the real sun, with several metal arms emanating from its center. This light travels over specific areas of the Ark, simulating the cycle of day and night that was necessary for growing plants and controlling weather conditions. An important aspect of Installation 00 is also its ability to send and receive objects through subspace portals, it was through them that the created Halo Network was sent to the galaxy. The Great Ark has the same flower-like shape as Setting 00, and consists of a circular central section from which a series of swirling branches extends. In terms of its internal structure, it is almost identical to its small brother, but nevertheless it also has a number of significant differences: instead of eight arms, like in the Small Ark, this Installation has only six branches. Also, instead of an artificial sun, the Big Ark is illuminated by six plasma pillars, each of which is located above one of the arms and emanates from the tower in the center. These plasma "tubes" shine and dim at regular intervals, imitating the cycle of day and night. In fact, both installations resemble the concept of an astronomical megastructure called the "Alderson disk", which was created by the American scientist and science fiction writer Dan Alderson. Like the concepts of "Dyson's sphere" and "Niven's ring" or otherwise "World of the Ring", it implies that with an appropriate level of technological development, any civilization can build an astronomical mega-structure, which is not inferior in size to the whole star system. The structure of Installation 00 is most consistent with this very concept, with the exception, perhaps, of those factors that the Alderson disk is larger in size and has a star in its center. The Alderson Disk (named after Dan Alderson, the creator of the concept) is an artificial astronomical megastructure such as the Ringworld and the Dyson Sphere. Terran women have already twice encountered civilizations that built such an object, and since it is more suitable not for one, but for several races, requiring different climatic conditions, it was with such a society that they were inhabited. The disc is a giant dish several thousand kilometers thick. The sun lies in a hole in the center of the disc. The outer perimeter of Alderson's disk is roughly equivalent to the orbit of Mars or Jupiter. The hole is surrounded by a wall a thousand miles high to prevent the atmosphere from entering the sun. The outer rim does the same. The structure is pretty good because life can exist on either side of the disk, although the heat close to the Sun would make life impossible without protection. Conversely, living beings farther from the Sun would freeze. Therefore, in order for such a whole structure to be habitable, it had to include a huge number of life support systems, or it was intended for not one, but a group of races. Since the Sun remains stationary, there is no day / night cycle, only everlasting twilight. But by those whom the Terran women encountered, it was decided that they made their Sun float up and down within the disk, first blocking one side and then the other. In general, after the Installations are transported to the place of the Citadel-class station nanosystems and the construction robots will start modernizing the internal systems, plus before starting the modernization I am thinking of assembling a small Mir-Ring at one of the Installations, most likely at Installation 00, that is, with a diameter of 10,000 km, and then arrange an epic theatrical performance in the Solar System simulating its construction, say, in the orbit of Venus, or even Earth. Maybe I will, Skoda is not worse than any other. In addition, as it turned out, the Capital of the Forerunners also survived and was completely sterilized by the Haloes. It is now also being prepared for transportation, it will first be installed in one of the star systems that were transferred here by the Clans who transferred to my House, and then I will see where I will install it, but I will definitely not make it the capital of the Empire as I plan to build the Ring World. And I will give the former Capital of the Forerunners to Natasha, she needs it more because she does not have such resources as I do. I do not plan to disassemble the Earth, but simply move it to a closer orbit to the Sun, and put Venus and Mars in the same orbit. As a result, the following system will turn out: in the orbit of the old Earth, the World-Ring, and a little closer to the Sun, Rosetta of three planets. In the meantime, I looked through the data on the Capital of the Forerunners and was more and more convinced that I would give it to Natasha, of course she would grumble, but she needed her much more than me. The capital, also known in the Forerunner language as Maitrillian, was the political center of the Forerunner ecumene. It served as home to such supreme administrative and judicial bodies as the Council of the Ecumene and the Court of the Capital. The capital is an immense astro-engineering structure surpassing all Halo and comparable in size to the Gas Giant and Installation 00, and consists of a series of perfectly circular "platforms" spiraling along a central rod. Towards the ends of the rod, the platforms gradually decrease, and the largest platform is the one in the middle: its diameter is about 100,000 kilometers. The surface of each platform is abundantly dotted with "cities" of buildings and buildings, whose gravity is controlled by independent buffer fields. http://ipic.su/img/img4/fs/._1510401918.png (The size of the Capital in comparison with Jupiter, Earth and the Lesser Ark) http://ipic.su/img/img4/fs/._1510402137.jpg (The capital is unfolded) http://ipic.su/img/img4/fs/._1510402194.png (Fully collapsed Capital) http://ipic.su/img/img4/fs/._1510402265.png (The capital in different variants of its location around the pivot) The capital, one of the oldest structures in the Ecumene, was built around 122,445 BC. e. Despite its enormous size, the Capital had a relatively small population of several hundred thousand Forerunners, mostly high-ranking Builders, who were expelled after an attempted coup. Now the entire station is covered by a vast network of trillions of VI assistants - the Metarchy of the Capital, which is run by metarch-level assistants who report to Toyet personally. But even it pales before the "Heart of Creation", the central shipyard of Ancient Mankind, located in the intergalactic void and representing the Dyson Sphere with a diameter of three hundred million kilometers and capable of producing even full-fledged Ring Worlds like Terra. Judging by Toinet's analysis, its modernization, if not diverting all available resources, will take about 5-6 thousand years, but after its completion, the Dawn Empire will automatically reach the level of the Great House, since the demand for the Ring Worlds in the Empires of the Ring of Worlds is huge, and similar installations in the whole Ring is only 25, as a result, demand far exceeds supply. As Alexia told me and that the rest of the heads of the Clans confirmed, now our capabilities, thanks to the legacy of Ancient Mankind and the Forerunners, are at the level of the House of an average size, well, or its analogue in any large Empire of the Ring of Worlds, before the Great we were still like before the Moon, but if we do not lose tempo, then we will reach this level the most in five to six thousand years just after the modernization of the "Heart of Creation" at the sight of which these windings dropped their jaws. I also had the idea to publish the report of the CIA Director on GOA, which the Pindos erased wherever he was, even paper copies in the archives were destroyed, and the only surviving copy remained with me, but after thinking hard I put it off until later, that by the President of the United States is a fool to my advantage. - / The sun is melting, please look for more filthy dirt on the politicians of the United States, the European Federation and Japan, so that when the time comes to press them between the legs /, - I mentally asked my friend to receive a naughty snort in response. - Fu Fu Fu! I will do everything in the best possible way, - this anxious fox grumbled, and for a moment I felt sorry for the politicians, because when the time comes they will face charges of arson, murder and repeated red light transitions.
The original plan for me to personally steer the Guardian has been revised. Since Toinet wanted to take part in the fun and therefore she ruled the Guardian, but at first I decided to fight with Semiramis on her territory, but just in case an avatar, since I cannot change my body with the help of the Soul Catcher as an ordinary Terran, and I cannot fly away for rebirth. I don't want to if my True One, who turned out to be Semiramis, can suddenly win, although this is extremely and extremely unlikely. But paranoia is the key to the health of the paranoid. Arturia, on the other hand, sent her analogue and Galahad a challenge to a duel to death, she was not going to forgive betrayal, in general, her canon version made her beat the facepalms more than once, since her life was very different from this, as she put it, delirium. Medea took over Atalanta with her Master. Nero decided to fight Alexander the Great. Meda took care of the enthusiastic fool Lancelot. Veronica decided to fight again with the berserker, this time with Spartacus, who received another Master, and the named former Master Assassin. I'm still in reserve. Toinet, on a signal, will have to destroy the island of Semiramis by the Guardian. I will frame the call of the Guardian as a call of phantasm and with an extremely pretentious spell. But Hercules, Cleo, Medusa and Nova will take care of the Knightly Orders, which the Holy Church sent to defeat what, in their opinion, "evil" is great. Although, why in quotes, my race for religious fanatics is a real evil in the flesh. And now we all stood against the Masters of the Red Team. - You know, Karen, - I began with a grin, looking at the still Master Semiramis and freely remade the Hannibal lecture of Agent Smith from the Matrix, which, unfortunately, or fortunately, was not here, - until we started the fight, I want to share a theory that recently created. I was engaged in the classification of world religions throughout the history of mankind, and came to the conclusion that I know what Christianity is, like Islam, and all other Avramistic cults. After all, all normal religions try to help their believers, they adapt, find balance with the new world, you don't have to go far for an example, Buddhism and Shintoism. But the Abrahimists are not like that. You do not produce anything, you do not help anything, you only want more power, and in order to preserve your power, you are ready to plunge the world into barbarism. To survive, you have to conquer more and more new territories, get more and more believers, whom you infect with your harmful beliefs, and they become just like you. There is one organism on Earth with a similar behavior. Do you know which one? Virus. Religion is a disease, cancer ... of humanity. And we ... We are the medicine! Cancer is what religion is! You are not even a parasite, parasites are considered useless, however they are an important part of the ecosystem. You are mold. And mold should be disposed of. After making a speech, which is the very embodiment of the trope "Why do you suck," I began to wait with interest for her answer, and she did not disappoint me. Tamamo, on the other hand, looked like she was about to burst with a hard-pressed laugh. - You! Karen shouted. - What do you want? What do you know? What are you talking about? Everything, everything belongs to Him! I also belong to Him. And I love Him, I pray for Him, I serve Him! Do you want to rebel against Him, the almighty, you are poor! Know that He reigns over everything and over everyone! Everything that you have is from Him! Everything that grows and breathes is from Him! - she was already shaking with excitement. Ciel rolled her eyes at the same time, and I chuckled in surprise to myself, Ciel turned out to be an agnostic, and fought on the side of the Church only because only the Church could normally get rid of the Dead Apostles, but now her life's work was done, and she was very interested in who did it ... - You can masturbate, - I snorted in response to her breakdown, plugging the Hannibalo to this idiot. - I'm ready to wait.Though it might be worth bringing in someone else. Having said this, I lit up with a golden light, and began to read that same pretentious "invocation spell", at the same time sending a signal to Toinet. My mother is the Morning Star. The star that has fallen from heaven, may it gain victory. Come to this world Armageddon and crush those who threaten human souls! The space rippled and ripped open with the blackness of the portal, from which the Guardian appeared, on whose head stood Toinet, who at the moment had the appearance of an "angel", that is, snow-white wings, "flapping" them, she flew over to us and knelt down, saying. - Greetings, Empress. It was all a performance, but it was worth it because Karen's eyes became like two saucers. “I think it's worth moving on to the main thing, namely, the battles of the War, which you call the Holy Grail War,” I said, and Meda, Medea, Arturia, Nero and Veronica nodded, and Toinet flew back to the Guardian's head. And I continued. - Semiramis, Tamamo, I have the honor to be your opponent.
POV Arturia Pendragon - Arthur. I take it you are a true paladin? - I asked my counterpart standing opposite me, who nodded at that. - Then ... - I chuckled and broke into a malicious grin. “You should know that a paladin can be a good warrior, but his ruler is always zero. Since a true, ideal paladin is an uneducated, but shrewd and charismatic jock-humanist who, with all his everyday wisdom and experience, is dumber than his horse and even a sword. And you just can't understand that for the ruler in the first place should be the good of his people, and for the knight the protection of the innocent, and personal honor is only at the very end, and if for the good of the people of your country you need to destroy another, then you must do it without batting an eye. So you are a disgrace not only as a king, but also as a knight, and also an idiot once took a traitor to himself. As I said that, I laughed, but Arthur and Galahad turned purple. - You are EVIL! - the moron gave out, - I will crush you. - Good and evil is a relative concept, for a ruler, then good that goes for the good of his country and people, - I snorted. - And the boy clearly didn’t poke your face in the mud, putting you in front of a choice between personal honor and the code and the lives of people, you probably even died at thirty, but I ruled until my death in my bed with my heiress, whose name was Mordred ... And in cases where there was a choice between honor and justice, she simply sent honor and code to distant distances, here, this traitor will not let you lie. Galahad, you have always been an idiot and that is why you were and remain a simple warrior, whose brains are replaced by the code, which is why you never rose above an ordinary knight. And you seem to be a reflection of an earlier Galahad whom I had not yet executed for participating in another riot of the aristocracy, which did not like that I did not listen to their nonsense, and exiled Merlin for trying to manipulate me and make my sister Morgana and my daughter and heiress Mordred mine enemies. “Well, why they suck, I explained to them,” I thought, “it remains to wait for the natural reaction of these two squalor.” This time, as I expected, they could not bear my bullying and rushed into battle, and Arthur immediately set in motion the proto-Excalibur, and Galahad wielded a large cruciform shield of Lord Camelot, however, much worse than Masha, who was still running and sword. `` Well, let the worthy one win, to which you two idiots do not belong, '' I snorted, materializing the sacred spear of Rongominad found in Gilgamesh's treasury, although Excalibur was now resting in its scabbard - Avalon that Shizuka handed over to me as soon as I could extract from her body. Activating the spear, I sent a beam of light to Galahad, which, however, reflected it with my fantasy and I had to dodge.- Oh, so ... - I chuckled, - well, I don't mind, if you don't want it will be in an amicable way, in my opinion. “And for us this is an honor, Princess,” Tamamo said, and Semiramis nodded and threw something that looked like toli on the grains, or on the teeth, weaving a spell. - Come wars from the Dragon's Teeth. In the next moment, a crowd of undead appeared between them, skeletons armed with assorted weapons, swords, axes and even bows. - Sanctuary! - I also hit the field of furious psionic energy, burning demons and cleansing the area from any demonic influences, but it also effectively acts on undead, and therefore the skeletons crumbled into dust. “Eightfold Blessing of Amaterasu,” Tamamo used her phantasm and attacked. - Animal Sky. The sky of Chaos. Simultaneously with her, Semiramis struck. - Shockwave Cannon. I decided to ignore and almost paid, the spell of Semiramis knocked me down and broke through the AT-barrier, and the Sky of Chaos streaked my clothes with a stream of wind enhanced by magic. - You want to be more serious. It will be more serious for you, - I snorted and restored my clothes with a spell. “I command you with a Command Spell. Heroic Soul Semiramis put all your strength into the attack and kill this creature Kaname Oda, - said Karen the third and final Command Spell. But Ciel stepped back so as not to get underfoot and now, together with Sofia and Sakura, enjoyed the spectacle. Following Semiramis and Tamamo, she began to weave a much more powerful spell than the first time, and then another. - Merciful Sky. Fiery Sky. And a stream of fire fell on me so strong that it could fry even a terranka, if I hadn't been a Princess, I would have been sent to change the body. But this was not enough to harm the Princess of Chaos even of the green spectrum, not to mention the blue, yet I put 90% of my strength into this avatar, leaving the main body safe in the Fortress World. - Sikera Ushum (Wine for the Arrogant King), - Semiramis activated the phantasm to enhance her spells with the effect of poisoning. - Summon Divine Beast to Bazmu. It was Bazmu who looked like a huge snake, but to Karen's surprise, immediately after the call, he almost began to flatter me. “It’s not a good idea to summon a child of the embodiment of primordial chaos against the one directly connected with it,” I said, stroking Bazma. “Karen, you've always been a fool. And I think it's not worth killing you, Semiramis will be very happy to take revenge on you, and you will become a sex toy, ”snorted Tamamo, who caught Semiramis, who lost consciousness, gave her all when summoned, and gave her to Sophia, giggled. - Kaname, let's solve our differences in bed. - Use the team! - ran into Ciel Karen. - What for? Unlike you, I am not a fanatic, and I worked for the Church only because only you could normally fight the Dead Apostles, I am generally agnostic and I perfectly see what the religion has become and what the Church is actually doing, - the girl was distracted from crunching chips. which here, too, turned out to be not very canon, leaving Karen in a deep touch. - It seems in such cases it is customary to say oops, - I snorted, after which Tamamo said. - And about your question Tamamo, I'm all for it, but you yourself said that you won't give up so easily. So pleasant dreams, as you wake up, we'll talk. “Starlight Breaker,” I cosplayed a character from the anime, namely Nanohu Takamachi, a column of light the thickness of a good log erupted from my palm and hit Tamamo.
POV Arturia Shaking the blood of Galahad from the spear, who was not helped even by all three command spells of his Master, and after making sure that the body was gone, I put it back into the dimensional pocket and exposed Excalibur. Only Arthur himself remained, even if I was stronger, but paranoia told me that it would not be easy, so I activated the shield generator of solid light located in the glove, which took the form of an assault shield.Arthur rushed into the attack, which I blocked with a shield. My retaliatory lunge cut only the air, as my analogue managed to jump back, and began to go around me in a circle, trying to force me to constantly change my stance, thereby knocking down attacks. But what he did not take into account was the fact that I am now a Terran, and we have a bunch of answers for every trick. Stepping through the warp, I found myself behind him and stabbed him in the back, leaving a bleeding wound. But the next moment I had to move away from the blade enveloped in golden light, intending to cut me in half. His master used all three Command Spells to get Arthur to defeat me at all costs. “You may have managed to catch me once, but you cannot win in a fair fight. Now I will be on the alert, so your dastardly tricks will no longer help, - said Arthur, healing his wound. - Can't you win in a fair fight? - this time I was sincerely indignant. - And what do you mean by this fair fight? Perhaps, to be honest, we both had to fight with swords? Or is a one-on-one fight enough, without other restrictions? Don't you think you have a problem with the logic? Although, what am I talking about? You are a paladin, mind is not the main thing for you. - What are you talking about? - This idiot looked gloomily at me, apparently mentally choosing the criteria for an honest fight, judging by his slightly pensive appearance. - The only option for a fair fight is the absence of any restrictions, in this case everyone limits himself to his own potential, - I explained to him the only true criterion of a fair fight that the terran women use. - If you know how to shoot - shoot, you know how to hide and hit in the back - please, without even warning about the start of the fight. After all, everyone studied different sciences. - What do you understand. The paladin exploded. “Even the Master didn’t show up for the duel. - Well, why didn’t appear, - I snorted and turned to the dragon on which I flew in and which now, with its head on its front paws, was watching us with interest. - Aitalayt, be so kind as to introduce yourself. “The mage transforming into a dragon, everything is clear,” Arthur snorted as Aitalight changed into human form. “On the contrary,” this infection snorted and looked at him with a glance in which gastronomic interest was clearly visible, well, no, I’m definitely not going to eat it, I’ll get heartburn from it, and then she told me. “Artie, maybe you’ll show him some new tricks. In the end, she herself said what a fair fight is. “You’re right Aitalayt, but what you’re planning to do I won’t, I’ll get heartburn from him,” I nodded, letting go of my ears and tail. - It's time to continue the fight, - I already turned to Arthur, easily blocking his attack. - Only now the games are over, and by the way, your Master will only remember what we allow. For him, and most importantly for our safety. And there is no need to try to defend, the race to which I now belong, created entire universes even when humanity lived in caves. Fighting off the attack of this moron's attack, I continued to say, of course I understood that I was breaking the rule that, if it sounds briefly, that you should not read monologues before someone you want to kill, and that you can gloat over a corpse. But unfortunately, I can't gloat over his corpse, so I'll have to improvise. - Do you believe in God Arthur? - I continued. - We, too, or rather do not believe, but we know, and we also know that most of the gods are suitable only for food or for slaves, adequate among them at most ten to a thousand. And if there were a god, in whom Christians believe in this universe, we would simply ... - Ate it! - having said this, I surrounded myself with an energy field and attacked in earnest, since I was already tired of playing. Nero was right, she would have to leave him without a head, anyway he only eats into it. End pov
If the site is located on a slope, especially if the slope is very steep, then this style is for you.The slope of the site will allow you to create a truly exclusive landscape, which is impossible on a flat surface. And on a flat area, you can recommend making some separate, small objects in this style: a rockery, an alpine slide, a group of containers. The Alpine style is very picturesque. In general, such a garden is easy to maintain, however, at first it will be necessary to weed out the plantings in a timely manner, but this is until perennials grow, and then care will be reduced to purely decorative moments. The size of the plots for the alpine garden: from 3 to 30 acres. But the site should not be shaded and low-lying.
Key elements of this style:
Stone, stone and stone again!
Contrasts: different colors of pavements, different forms of coloring of plants.
"Hanging" viewing platforms - gazebos.
Flower beds made of stone.
Streams and waterfalls.
Alpine plants, conifers and cereals.
Steps, terraces, numerous cobbled areas.
There are many stone structures.
The paths are slightly winding, as a rule - from separate elements.
Features of the layout:
Zones in an alpine garden should be partially visible and provide a single, interconnected picture, therefore solid partitions are not used here, basically the garden is zoned by levels, podiums, paving boundaries, that is, the designations of the zones are symbolic.
Pergolas and other structures in this style are trying to be placed closer to the house.
The house usually stands at the highest point of the slope.
If a beautiful panorama opens up somewhere, it must be included in the garden landscape.
Buildings are best combined into single complexes.
The general color scheme is light, with many bright and nuanced inclusions. It all looks like a kind of mountain "mosaic". Advantage - warm colors: red, yellow, orange, terracotta, golden, cherry. And the background is all shades of green, silver, white. For contrast, blotches of blue and purple.
Trees: any conifers, most of which are alpine dwarf varieties, mountain pines, creeping and pyramidal conic spruce to juniper, thuja dwarf fruit crops.
Shrubs: chokeberry, honeysuckle, gooseberries, currants, raspberries, viburnum buldenezh and chubushnik, any lilac, Japanese quince, hydrangeas and spireas, barberry, maiden grapes.
Perennials and flowers: heathers, ferns, hosts, clematis, climbing roses, ground cover roses, cereals, sedum, thyme, quarry, creeping tenacious, styloid phlox, alissum, soapwort, armeria, fire carnation, alpine asters. The most common wormwood is also used. Here and there you can plant and remontant strawberries, pansies and daisies. Poppy, Carpathian bells, snapdragon, echinacea, crocosmia, knifofofia are very popular. In flower beds, lupins, astilbe, lilies, zinnia, tall perennial asters and phlox look good.
Any natural stone: limestone - sandstone, boulders, pebbles (sea and river), as well as gravel, crushed stone, rubble stone, granite, tuff, lava.
Pergolas and awnings made of wood, simple in shape.
Ponds are often combined with rock gardens and rockeries.
There may be several alpine slides.
Cascading reservoirs connected by streams.
Gardens of stones.
Gardens of mosses and heathers.
Many containers of simple shape.
Ceramics and metal.
Abstract sculptures in a modern style, there are few of them.
Garden decorations in the form of balls of cubes.
Spice bed in the shape of a spiral or simply lined with stone.
In the alpine garden, most often the resting places are located directly in the open areas.
A vegetable garden is quite appropriate here, but it is better to make the beds in "boxes" and cut them across the slope.
If you want to have a lawn, then it should be small, or better - several, at different levels.
There is a lot of vertical gardening in an alpine garden: it is a link in smoothing out abrupt transitions on the site.
To make the stones brighter, to reveal their structure, use a special stone varnish.
Alpine spirit corresponds to various mono-gardens (gardens made up of plants of the same species, such as heathers), such a garden can be in each of the zones. He will also be an element of zoning.
All plants are best planted in groups, clumps.
There should be a lot of bulbous, especially small-bulbous ones. For example, crocuses can also be used to create whole gardens!
The process of urbanization (from the Latin urbanus - city), that is, the territorial growth of cities, as well as the spread of the urban way of life, began several centuries ago. The development of science, technology and the scale of human economic activity have led to global environmental consequences (see Appendix, Table 1). With the growth of cities, such problems as air, soil and water pollution, removal and disposal of household and industrial waste, changes in the thermal and noise regime of territories, and a decrease in the species diversity of flora and fauna were identified and aggravated.
The emergence of the first large cities led to the transformation and pollution of the natural environment, both in urban and in the adjacent territories. Lands were plowed up, vegetation was destroyed, roads and canals were laid, reservoirs were built, buildings and structures were erected. Already in antiquity, around the cities, forests were completely cut down, the natural character of the landscape was disturbed and vegetation was trampled down. This was partly due to the need to build fortifications, partly - using wood as a building material.
Such interference with the natural environment led to a deterioration in the quality of microclimatic indicators of the urban environment (temperature, humidity and aeration regime) and an increase in the level of pollution of all aggregate spheres (air, water, soil). To restore the parameters of the urban environment that are comfortable for living, as well as to improve its aesthetic qualities, parks, squares, gardens and other elements were founded on the territory of cities and their suburbs, the combination of which formed natural complexes of urban landscapes.
Gardening art, and at later stages and landscape architecture, in different countries passed the path of development and formation under the influence of socio-cultural, natural-climatic and economic factors that determine their differences. The implementation of the western and eastern approaches to the formation of natural complexes of urban landscapes in general and their individual elements in particular can be traced on the example of garden and park complexes in some cities of Western Europe, Russia, China and Japan.
The main style directions in landscape design. At different stages of the development of the science of the formation of artificial landscapes and systems of green spaces, it bore different names: at the initial stages - gardening art , at later stages - landscape architecture or landscape design. However, at all stages, the main feature was that the means of creating the composition were natural elements - vegetation, relief and water, as well as artificial ones - small architectural forms, decorative sculpture, visual communications, water devices, decorative coatings, etc. [6, p. ... nine].
The combination of natural and artificial components of the environment into a holistic composition with a certain artistic image is the main goal of creating objects of "green building", which throughout the history of their development were a synthesis of nature and various arts, were associated with historical styles, philosophy, literature, painting, architecture, music, with the peculiarities of life and expressed aesthetic ideals changing from era to era.
However, there are two main approaches to the formation of elements of natural complexes of cities, which determine the fundamental differences in the views of Western and Eastern cultures on the transformation of the natural environment.
Regular style direction. The regular stylistic trend is characterized by the desire for a complete transformation of the natural relief, its structuring, the formation of geometrically correct compositional elements.
Distinctive features of the regular style are: a geometric grid of a plan, a straight-line tracing of alleys and roads, an ordinary planting of trees and bushes, an abundance of sculptures and water devices. Most often, in the planning composition of an object (park, garden, public garden, etc.), one can distinguish the main and secondary axes along which the composition develops. The relief is often terraced and architecturally processed with retaining walls that accentuate the drops. The reservoirs have a geometrically regular shape. When landscaping, the techniques of topiary art are used , as well as a clear selection and designation of the parterre (Fig. 1).
Fig. 1. The basic structure of a regular garden
The regular style trend in gardening art originated in ancient times (apparently, in Babylon) and was reflected in the parks and gardens of Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Persia and India, however, the flowering of the regular style fell on the 16th-18th centuries. and was embodied in the gardens of Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Holland, and a little later (in the XVII-XIX centuries) - in Russia.
Landscape style direction... The landscape style direction is characterized by the desire to emphasize the beauty of natural nature. The elements of the natural complex of the city are most often based on a natural green massif, the relief and existing plantings of which are subject to minimal changes.
The distinctive features of the landscape style are: a free plan grid, winding paths and paths, which are traced according to the bends and irregularities of the existing relief by the winding contours of reservoirs by freely growing trees with unshaped crowns. There is no architectural dominant in the park ensemble. It is replaced by small gazebos, arches, bridges and other small architectural forms located in the park's viewpoints - places from where the most picturesque views of the surrounding natural environment open. Most often, there was a vast reservoir on the territory of the park, glades and groves around which were organized into a single spatial system (Fig. 2).
Fig. 2. The basic structure of a landscape garden
Landscape objects that can be attributed to the landscape style direction were presented in Ancient Greece, but did not become widespread in Western countries of the period of antiquity and antiquity. The landscape style reached its heyday in China and Japan. At the stages of colonization, research and trade expeditions of European states to eastern countries, the methods of forming a landscape park were transferred to Europe in the 18th century and Russia in the 18th - early 19th centuries, and also enriched the landscape gardening art of Europe, America, Russia in the 19th-20th centuries. ...
Development of landscape gardening and landscape architecture... The development of natural complexes of cities has been going on for many centuries. The nomenclature of elements gradually changed, depending on the socio-economic situation, the level of culture, arts and crafts. In the East, in China and Japan, this process took place especially slowly, for centuries submitting to the religious beliefs and traditions of the peoples.Using the example of Western countries, one can more clearly see how the nomenclature of elements of natural complexes of cities has changed, their purpose, size, functionality and accessibility.
Features of the formation of natural complexes of cities in Europe and Russia. Gardening art, as the first stage in the formation of green building, originated in ancient times at the earliest stages of the development of human civilization. This is evidenced by the finds of archaeologists, text descriptions and conventional images of plans for gardens and parks.
The first elements of the natural complexes of cities, created by man, were gardens, which were based on a utilitarian purpose - the cultivation of fruit and berry and other crops. Only wealthy people and the church had the opportunity to plant and maintain gardens that served for entertainment and recreation, in the conditions of a slave-owning and feudal system. Until the 18th century. public gardens were extremely rare and were generally maintained by wealthy patrons of the arts.
The oldest known gardens were in Egypt. References to ornamental gardens of the 4th-3rd millennium BC have survived. Regular gardens with pools and well-differentiated trees were depicted in large numbers in murals from the time of the New Kingdom, starting from the middle of the 2nd millennium BC. In fig. 3 shows the oldest surviving detailed images of Egyptian gardens, which dates back to the time of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Noteworthy is the regular plan of the garden: the center of the composition is occupied by a vineyard surrounded by rows of trees. The four ponds are both decorative and utilitarian, as illustrated by the ducks depicted on them. There are gazebos on the bank of two ponds on the left. There are two large buildings in the garden: on the left is a house, on the right, possibly a manor temple. It is curious that the depiction of the garden closely matches the description of another garden set up by the official priest Methenus near Thebes in 2720 BC.
Fig. 3. House and gardens of a wealthy Egyptian nobleman in Thebes. Fragment of a wall painting. XV-XIV centuries. BC.
Descriptions of the palace gardens amaze the imagination of even a modern person. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon in the South Palace of Babylon, considered one of the seven wonders of the world, were built around the 7th century. BC e. Excavations have uncovered a significant number of brick pillars supporting the massive ceiling that is believed to have housed the famous gardens (Fig. 4). Legends tell about their unprecedented exotic beauty, about fountains and cascades of water flowing down from artificial ledges. As in many other cases, there seems to be a certain amount of fantasy and exaggeration here. Excavations showed that the entire area occupied by the gardens was hardly one hectare.
Fig. 4. Hanging Gardens of Babylon (reconstruction)
Thus, the main elements of the natural complexes of cities in the period of the Ancient World (BC) are individual gardens at the houses and palaces of the nobility, as well as green spaces of temple complexes.
In the landscape gardening architecture of antiquity, two tendencies in the relationship between human activity and nature can be distinguished. These trends are associated with differences in the culture of the largest states that existed simultaneously in the Mediterranean at the turn of our era.
Picturesque, striving for harmony with nature is characteristic of the works of Greek architecture and art. Acropolis and theaters of the Greek cities of the Peloponnese and Asia Minor, which are the centers of urban compositions, literally "grow" out of the landscape. This is the ensemble of the Athenian Acropolis, which looks like a sculptural completion of the rock on which it stands (Fig. 5). Various forms of temples and other architectural forms, their free placement determined the picturesque beginning in the spatial composition. This arrangement conceals a certain sequence of perception of architectural volumes, their foreshortening and plastics, oriented towards the line of movement of the solemn procession. The ensemble is dominated by points of perception from an angle, and the entire Acropolis is perceived gradually, as the paintings unfold. The ensemble is consistent with the landscape by subordinating the axes of the temples to the relief and the coast [6, p. 21].
Fig. 5. Ensemble of the Acropolis of Athens (modern look)
The main elements of the natural complex of the Greek city were:
- small private gardens located in the courtyards of residential buildings. The main element of such a garden was a reservoir with a mosaic pattern at the bottom, around which flowers and shrubs were placed in boxes and tubs.
- Gymnasium gardens, which were originally places for physical exercise, but were later transformed into places of public meetings and conversations, gradually developing into philosophical gardens. The sizes of the gardens could differ from each other (from small porticos in Corinth to extensive country parks in Athens), but they all share a common feature: they were groves or parks lined with plane trees, olives, poplars, the layout of which represented the beginnings of a landscape style
- elements of landscaping areas of public importance, such as central squares of cities, alleys along the largest roads, row planting of trees at various structures. One example is the main square of Athens - Agora. Initially, it did not have strict symmetry in its layout. Here small temples and altars towered in various places, trees grew. It is known that among the plantings there were popular, except for plane trees, poplars and olives. Near the altar, in the shade of the plantations, there was a meeting place (Fig. 6).
Fig. 6. Agora - the central square of Athens
The characteristic features of the gardening art of Ancient Greece were: the use of mountainous terraces for the arrangement of terraces, the creation of artificial hydraulic structures - fountains, pools, the use of flowers, architectural forms and sculptures in parks, specially adapted to the background of greenery or grottoes, a combination of regular and landscape styles.
Thus, already in classical Greece, there were public public gardens. The Greek city, inscribed in nature, was surrounded by groves of olive trees, agricultural land, but the introduction of wildlife directly into the fabric of the city remained minimal.
Unlike Greek, Roman culture is characterized by the opposition of the picturesque nature of the environment to geometric and rectilinear forms. The time of the highest flowering of landscape gardening art of ancient Rome fell on the period from the 1st century. BC e. to the 1st century n. e. During this period, the following elements of the natural complexes of cities were formed:
- sacred groves - gardens associated with a religious cult. Descriptions of a grove located on a hill, at the foot of which streams flowed, have survived. The grove was formed from cypresses, poplars and box trees, it housed the main temple and several chapels, each of which had its own source
- city public gardens - most often laid out at theaters, looked like a promenade decorated with sculptures and supplemented by a covered gallery. There is information that during the reign of Emperor Augustus, significant landscaping work was carried out, thanks to which Rome received 700 pools, 500 fountains and 130 reservoirs, and a park with a vast flowing artificial lake and a canal was laid out near the luxurious building of the Agrippa Thermal Baths, on which for the entertainment of the people were arranged holidays with staged naval battles
- the gardens at the palaces had various purposes - from utilitarian to entertainment.Until our time, information has been preserved that the court gardens were saturated with sculptures, fountains and had artificial lakes, but data on the layouts have not survived
- the most interesting and diverse elements of urban natural complexes, information about which have come down to our days, are private gardens. They were arranged at houses and villas (Fig. 7).
Fig. 7. Villa Tuski in ancient Rome
The characteristic features of the garden and park art of Ancient Rome were: a composition emphasizing the main axis of the central structure, taking into account the unfolding species, the improvement of ancient Greek techniques and the creation of new ones (the use of sculpture, pergolas in the decoration of the garden, alleys for pedestrians and carriages) the appearance of topiary art the prevalence of regular style direction.
The Greek tendency of the formation of publicly accessible elements of the natural complex of cities continues and develops, but their size and equipment are inferior to private gardens at houses, villas, palaces.
These two cultures (Greek and Roman) had the greatest influence on the gardening art of European countries, in which traditional techniques were developed and supplemented within the framework of the canons of the regular style. However, it should be noted that during the Middle Ages, the gardens of Western Europe significantly decreased in size compared to antiquity. Their purpose has changed.
Ornamental, promenade gardens have become a rarity and have shrunk to tiny plots sandwiched among the mighty walls of feudal castles. These gardens were mostly laid out on artificial foundations. Two zones were distinguished in them: the greater part was intended for the cultivation of fruit and medicinal plants, the smaller part was called the “pleasure garden” or “paradise garden” and served as a resting place for ladies and gentlemen . The most interesting technique for decorating the "entertainment garden" space, which appeared in the 5th-7th centuries, was a labyrinth, which was a section of specially intricate garden paths separated by clipped greenery.
Fig. 8. An example of a green maze
In the period of the early Middle Ages (IV-IX centuries), in connection with the coming to the fore in the social life of religion and the church, monastic gardens were greatly developed. They have a regular layout, which is based on the division of the territory into squares according to the purpose - orchards, vineyards, vegetable gardens, flower gardens for church services. The technique of placing a garden in the center of a square courtyard was widespread. There was a well or a large fruit tree at the intersection of the main paths.
Fig. 9. Schematic plan of the Benedictine monastery of Saint-Galen in Switzerland IX century. n. BC: 1 - garden of medicinal plants 2 - orchard and cemetery 3 - vegetable garden 4 - monastery courtyard garden
In the later periods of the Middle Ages (X-XIV centuries), when science gradually began to develop and the first higher educational institutions were founded, the natural complex of medieval cities was supplemented by university and botanical gardens. A characteristic feature of this period is a high degree of development of crafts, including garden and park art, agronomy, stone and wood carving, which was used to decorate the decorative elements of the garden - pools and fountains, benches, various paving. Western European medieval culture was formed in tight spaces, bounded by fortress walls and isolated from the outside world. The seclusion of the city was opposed to the landscape, its spatial structure was revealed only inside. The diminutiveness of the gardens echoed the strict limitations of other open spaces in the city. Narrow streets were common, the width of which did not exceed 1.5-2.0 m. Cathedral squares resembled expanded porches in front of the entrances to huge cathedrals.
Thus, the medieval cities of Western Europe were practically devoid of greenery.Only suburban forests remained generally accessible, but many feudal lords forbade townspeople and peasants to enter their forest estates. Natural complexes of cities were represented by separate small gardens located within the walls of castles, monasteries or universities, and therefore inaccessible to the general population.
Other concepts existed in medieval artistic culture, including green building, in Ancient Russia, located in Eastern Europe. The social order was another here, which determined the structure of settlement different from that of the West. In the West, along with crowded fortified cities, there were fortresses of feudal lords and villages. In Russia, only cities were fortified. Instead of castles, there were estates surrounded by agricultural land. The settlement centers were also fortified monasteries.
It is characteristic that monasteries and cities occupied a much larger territory than in the West. The relationship between the city and the natural landscape was active, but at the same time, nature itself was an active component of both the city and the monastery. The garden was the same indispensable part of the Russian city, like the white-stone golden-domed church, the variegation of stone chambers and patterned carvings of wooden towers. The walls embraced not only city houses and estates with their indispensable vegetable gardens, but also gardens on the steep slopes of the Kremlin hills, small churches with cemeteries under the dense canopy of trees (Fig. 10).
Fig. 10. Moscow gardens in the 16th century. Fragment of "Petrov's drawing" of the late 16th century.
About the appearance of the gardens of the X-XIV centuries. can only be judged by later analogs and rare chronicle descriptions, because plans have not been preserved. From the documents that have survived to this day, it can be concluded that monasteries and cathedrals had their own gardens, which combined economic and decorative functions. The monastery gardens occupied 25-30% of the walls. Their indispensable elements were fruit trees, vegetable gardens, berry fields and fish ponds. There is evidence of the existence in the XI century. apple orchard on the territory of the Kiev-Pechersky Monastery. The gardens of princely and noble estates were traditional. It is known that already in the XII century. such gardens existed in the estate of Yuri Dolgoruky in Kiev beyond the Dnieper, in the estate of Andrei Bogolyubsky near Vladimir, but now it is almost impossible to reliably reconstruct their appearance [6, p. 26].
In the gardening art of Russia and Western Europe, one can distinguish such common features as the development of monastery gardens, as well as the formation of private gardens and parks in the territories of castles and estates. However, if in European cities a strictly limited space was allocated to the elements of landscaping, enclosed by external fortified walls, then in Russia gardens were part of the urban infrastructure, widely included in the contour of fortifications that bound the city along the perimeter.
The Renaissance era marked the beginning of the flourishing of artistic culture in Europe. Gardening art is gradually developing into landscape architecture: more and more attention is paid to the formation of open urban spaces and public elements of the natural complex of cities. Patrons of art, represented, on the one hand, by the trade and craft aristocracy, and, on the other hand, by the church, invest heavily in the improvement and decoration of cities. Most often, compositional solutions for landscaping individual squares or streets were developed.
The gardening art achieved the most significant success in Italy, where in the period XIV-XVI many parks were founded at villas, palaces and country residences of the highest clergy, nobles and aristocracy. The most famous are: the gardens of Villa Caprarola and Villa d'Este, located 70-80 km from Rome, Boboli Gardens in Florence, etc.
Villa Caprarola's garden is not very large - about 1 hectare.Located on a hillside, the garden is split over three levels. On the first, a platform is arranged, decorated with a flat pool with a vertically gushing stream of water. From the site begins the transition to the next level, known as the "Garden of Caryatids". Caryatids are installed along the perimeter of the terrace on a stone parapet. The third level of the garden is conceived for utilitarian purposes - there are reservoirs that feed fountains and canals (Fig. 11). The green decor of the garden consists of a lawn and clipped trees and shrubs, but to the west and southwest there is a dense massif of deciduous and coniferous trees. A pedestrian alley stretching from the villa building to the massif visually connects them with each other .

Villa d'Este's garden is set on a 3.5 hectare plot. Part of the garden is a terraced slope, and part is a flat area. The elevation difference reaches 35 m.The garden of Villa d'Este is strictly geometric, however, in addition to the main longitudinal axis, it also has secondary transverse axes that divide the territory into separate fragments, each of which has its own individual design with water devices (fountains, canals), shrubs and trees (green labyrinths, parterres) or small architectural forms (statues, gazebos, benches), due to which it is perceived as a complete object and at the same time is an integral part of the whole. The sequence and variety of perception of the garden complex is surprisingly thought out: from three main viewpoints, completely different views open up - from the balcony of the second floor of the villa high above the garden and along the main axis with a wide panorama of the distant mountains from the landing of the stairs of the mezzanine of the villa to the distant terrain and the main axis, but already in a different perspective from the edge of the first terrace down to the vertical of the high jet at the Dragon Fountain (Fig. 12).

The Boboli Gardens consist of two parts: the first is the hillside that stretches southwest of the Pitti Palace building, the second is the area to the east.
Fig. 13. Boboli Gardens (plan): 1 - villa building 2 - Amanati courtyard 3 - amphitheater 4 - bosquet area 5 - parterre 6 - swimming pool with a fountain
The hillside is terraced and consists of three levels: below, directly in front of the palace, there is an open space for games and performances, it is surrounded by retaining walls, marble benches and dense plantings of oak. On the second level there is a platform with a pool and a sculpture of Neptune. On the third level - separate green lawns from the previous ones - there is a monumental marble sculpture. In the western part there is a row of bosquets, united by an alley. The alley is lined with cypresses and closes with an interesting compositional knot - an artificial island formed by flowers and a monumental fountain with a sculpture. Two bridges lead to the island .
Thus, the features of the gardening art of the Renaissance were: axial construction with the location of the main longitudinal axis across the terraces and the secondary transverse axes perpendicular to it, the appearance of the garden can be described as a "theatrical decoration", in the foreground of which were placed architectural objects and many sculptures, and on the back - views of the terrain, the main part of the garden is occupied by plantings in bosquets and parterres a new element has appeared - a "secret garden", which is an isolated area of the garden intended for secluded relaxation, thoughtful proportions, as well as taking into account the light and color effects of a large number of water devices.
In the gardens of the Renaissance, a return to Roman canons can be traced, typical for other branches of art. Similar trends continued into the Baroque era.
Renaissance and Baroque in France cover the period from the second half of the 15th century. until the beginning of the 18th century. The elimination of feudal fragmentation led to the expansion of cities outside the fortress walls. There is a development of such elements of natural complexes of cities as:
· Parks of hunting castles and palaces. A characteristic feature is the desire for the interaction of architecture and natural environment, which can be traced to the example of castles in the Loire Basin (Fig. 14), which has not been seriously urbanized. Among the castles of the Loire are the castles of Chenonceau, Villandry, Amboise and Blois
Fig. 14 (beginning). Loire Castles: 1 - Chenonceau 2 - Villandry 3)Fig. 14 (end). Loire Castles: 3 - Amboise 4 - Blois · botanical gardens, the main purpose of which was the study, use and protection of plant resources. To achieve the possibility of growing plant crops brought from different countries, the optimal soil composition, moisture and lighting regime were selected. One of the most famous botanical gardens is the Jardin de plant, founded in 1635 on the outskirts of ParisFig. 15. Plan of the "Garden of Plants" - the botanical garden of Paris · suburban park complexes, most of which were founded in the suburbs of Paris in the late 17th - early 18th centuries. These include the gardens of Marly, Saint-Cloud, Chantilly, Saint-Germain-en-Laye. However, the most large-scale complex of this period, undoubtedly, was Versailles, the territory of which occupies about 8.5 thousand hectares (Fig. 16). The natural conditions of the area were unfavorable: clay soil, endless swamps, extremely scarce water resources. During the construction of the park, an artificial layer of soil was created, a huge number of trees were brought (only part of the territory was covered with small forests, the rest was devoid of plantations), the capturing of rivers and rivulets, rain and even melt water was carried out, for which four tanks and a water tower were built, and also aqueducts and canals from ponds in the vicinity. Versailles became the apogee of the regular style in gardening art and had a significant impact on the surrounding countries.Fig. 16. Scheme of the general plan of Versailles (1660-1700): 1 - Army Square and courtyards of honor 2 - central parterres and bosquets 3 - greenhouse and lake. Swiss 4 - Apollo Fountain and Grand Canal 5 - Grand Trianon 6 - Petit Trianon The influence of French gardening art can be traced in English gardens of the 16th-18th centuries, where the main object of green construction was the park at the estate. A characteristic feature is the inclusion of natural reservoirs in the composition of parks, the use of a large number of trees and shrubs with molded crowns, with the help of which, including enclosed spaces, were created. However, regular parks with their pomp and scale of the work carried out briefly took root in England, which was covered with hills and small rivers winding between them, which did not favor the formation of huge open spaces like Versailles. In the XVIII century. English gardening art comes the landscape style, in the traditions of which the most famous parks are created. A similar situation developed in Germany, where in the late 17th - early 18th centuries. under the influence of French traditions, the Gerrenhausen garden in Hanover (Fig. 17), the Nymphenburg in Munich and some other parks at the palaces were founded.Fig. 17. Park complex Gerrenhausen in Hanover However, already such pearls of German gardening art as the Great Garden in Dresden (Fig. 18) and the Sanssouci Park in Potsdam are created in a mixed style, they clearly show the influence of Eastern culture and the landscape style borrowed from the Chinese tradition. ... This tendency is expressed in the preservation of natural forest areas adjacent to the parks with the preservation of vegetation and complementing the landscape only with walking paths and alleys.Fig. 18. Park The Great Garden in Dresden: 1 - Zoo 2 - Botanical Garden 3 - Palace 4 - Pond 5 - Open Theater Russian gardening art was also influenced by French traditions. At the beginning of the 18th century, Peterhof was founded, whose unique originality was given by the proximity of the sea and the exit of the park complex on the coast. Thanks to the arrangement of the reservoir system, the fountains of Peterhof can operate around the clock throughout the warm season. The Grand Palace is complemented by small palaces, tea houses, and a bath complex (Fig. 19). Throughout the 18th century, in the suburbs of St. Petersburg, work was carried out to arrange country palaces and estates with adjacent park complexes: Strelna, Orienbaum, Tsarskoe Selo. These and other garden and park complexes of the regular style form the image of St. Petersburg as a brilliant European capital. In the same period, the largest ensembles near Moscow were formed - Ostankino and Arkhangelskoye.Fig. 19. Plan of the palace and park complex of Peterhof However, with the end of the era of Peter the Great, there is a departure from the canons of the regular style and Gatchina, Pavlovsky Park, Tsaritsyno (Fig. 20) are already formed in a mixed style with a partial inclusion of natural landscapes in the garden and park complexes. there is a wide spread of gardens of urban estates, which have such distinctive features as the separation of the house from the street by a ceremonial courtyard-courdoner, the location of the garden behind the house with access to the river or pond (lake). By the end of the 18th century, the type of Russian estate was finally formed, the center of which was a house with outbuildings, vegetable gardens and an orchard. The manor garden began with a regular parterre adjacent to the house and turned into an English landscape park.Fig. 20. Tsaritsyno Palace and Park Ensemble Thus, in the Renaissance and Baroque eras, there was a return to the ancient canons of gardening art, the objects of which lost their utilitarian character in the Middle Ages, and again became places of rest and entertainment. The main elements of the natural complex of the city during this period are the gardens and parks of palaces, the territory of which increases to hundreds and thousands of hectares. Suburban and outskirts of large cities, where park complexes are based, are also actively being developed. In connection with the development of science, botanical gardens and gardens continue to form at universities, academies and other educational institutions. Publicly accessible green spaces in the urban area are represented mainly by alleys, boulevards and a small number of parks, which are freely accessible. Most of the objects of gardening art are created in a regular style. However, in the 18th century, thanks to trade relations with China and Japan, the Europeans got acquainted with the cultural traditions of these countries and their partial borrowing. This trend is also characteristic of gardening art, where the landscape style is gradually coming. The socio-economic situation, characterized by the rapid development of industrial production, the spontaneous growth of cities and, as a result, a sharp deterioration in the sanitary and hygienic conditions of life in the city, contributed to the active formation of new elements natural complexes of cities. At the same time, bourgeois society rejected the geometric character of gardens and parks with their aristocratic and ceremonial character. These prerequisites led to the widespread use of landscape style techniques in gardening art. Such new elements of natural complexes of cities as city parks, intended for recreation of the masses, are being formed. An example is Hyde Park with an area of 160 hectares, on the territory of which large meadows were left, intended for holding meetings. The park is surrounded by residential buildings on all sides, from where numerous paths lead into it (Fig.21) In addition to the arrangement of parks, gardens and squares, there is a general improvement of the largest cities in Europe, within the framework of which streets are expanded, river waters are cleared, and green spaces are formed. The most ambitious work in the field of urban planning and landscape architecture began in Paris during the reign of Napoleon I, but the greatest success was achieved in the period 1850-1870, when the city's reconstruction was headed by the Parisian prefect Ossman. for which about 1 billion francs were spent, the city received the main Parisian diameter, which almost straightforwardly connects the Place des Nations and the Place de la Zvezda, located on opposite outskirts at both ends of the diameter, the largest parks of Paris were created (Fig. 22) - the Bois de Boulogne (an area of 850 hectares ) and the Vienna Woods (area 900 hectares). The main idea of the reconstruction was to lay straight diameters crossing the city in the north-south and east-west directions, as well as the organization of bypass circular transport routes directing the flows of freight traffic outside the city center. Within the city center, at the intersection of large streets, several nodes were arranged - squares. For the first time, in order to improve the sanitary and hygienic parameters of the urban environment, masters of gardening art proposed to create large green areas on the outskirts of the city, complemented by small parks within the most populated areas. In the late 19th - early 20th centuries, many major cities in Europe and America were city public parks were founded, and parks at palaces and castles that were previously closed to the general population were transferred to the care of the city authorities and open to the public. One of the most famous public parks is Central Park in New York. His project embodies the idea of preserving a plot of untouched nature with an area of 300 hectares in the center of an urbanized area. The landscape layout preserves the natural relief with maximum accuracy and organizes its display from the most favorable points of view. The center of the composition is a reservoir, and the space is formed by groups of trees and shrubs in combination with glades. In addition to public parks, at the beginning of the 20th century, the first forest parks were founded in order to create conditions for recreation of citizens who were unable to travel to resorts (Amsterdam Forest Park, Jackson Park in Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan (Fig. 24)), as well as national parks and reserves, on the territory of which natural landscapes were preserved and observations of the life of representatives of the animal world were carried out (Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks (Fig. 25)). the rapid growth of cities in the XX century, there was some displacement of elements of wildlife from urban areas. However, the understanding of the need to create an environment that is comfortable for urban residents is gradually leading to an increase in the nomenclature of elements of natural complexes of cities: parks are subdivided according to their functional purpose (children's parks, parks of culture and recreation, sports gardens), the formation of green spaces of courtyard spaces, attempts are made to comprehensively develop green systems. plantings of cities, the purpose of which is not only to ensure the possibility of recreation for residents, but also to create a favorable microclimate, temperature, humidity and aeration regime. Gardening art is gradually developing into landscape architecture, which forms open spaces with the help of modern methods of engineering preparation of territories, landscaping and landscaping. 2.2. Features of the formation of natural complexes of cities in China and Japan The natural complexes of cities in China and Japan were formed over the centuries in a single tradition, which is based on the main ideas of Confucianism and Taoism - nature is considered as the abode of the gods, therefore, gardening art has developed in the direction of the formation of landscape compositions expressing nature, highlighting its natural beauty and creating an endless variety of changing views. China's park building has its roots in the 12th century. BC e., during the heyday of the Assyrian cities. The flowering of landscape art falls on the X-XII centuries. It is possible to distinguish several basic elements of the natural complexes of cities, however, such a division is rather arbitrary, since they all share common features: gardens at imperial palaces, gardens at imperial tombs, gardens at temples, gardens of natural landscapes, home gardens, gardens of scientists (literary gardens). The most famous were the gardens at the imperial palaces, which had huge areas reaching hundreds of square kilometers (by comparison, Versailles would seem like only a small parterre). For the foundation of the palace and the adjacent park, they chose an elevated area dotted with hills. The main feature of Chinese gardening art was that the park grew out of the surrounding landscape, imperceptibly lost in it. An example is the Yiheyuan palace and park complex (Park of "Peaceful Rest"), located in the vicinity of Beijing, which was the summer residence of the emperor. Once this park was adjacent to a huge park ensemble, which consisted of three gardens: "Garden of Eternal Spring", "Garden of Round Light" and "Garden of the Ten Thousand Spring". These gardens occupied 400 hectares and had over 140 architectural ensembles, which were landscape objects with ponds, caves, bridges and centuries-old trees . A distinctive feature of the gardens at the imperial palaces was an endless variety of water decoration in the form of large mirrored surfaces, real lakes or canals, whimsically winding, or very small ponds among thickets of trees. Rocks played an important role in the gardens, the location and composition of which showed an interest in geological formations and an understanding of the beauty of mountain landscapes. All paths in the park run along scenic trails. When moving, the illusion of a large and varied space is created, emphasized by fruit or coniferous trees. Floral decoration is very sparse, most often represented by lotuses in ponds or chrysanthemums planted in vases in autumn and winter. There are few sculptures in the park; they all depict animals or birds. Sculptures are often replaced by free-standing decorative stones. Small architectural forms bring color diversity - gazebos, galleries, bridges painted in red, yellow, gold (Fig. 27). However, according to the testimony of the Chinese themselves, the philosophy of the Chinese garden is reflected in the so-called gardens of scientists, or literary gardens. The area of the city of Suzhou near Shanghai is famous for them. In its gardens (currently about 60 survived) there is no official splendor of the imperial parks. The gardens here were created for relaxation, reflection and intellectual work. The main elements were small lakes with graceful bridges, pavilions with tiled roofs, pagodas, and natural stone compositions. The garden was a continuation of residential quarters and, separated from the surrounding world by a fence, embodied a special atmosphere of silence, peace and unity with nature . An interesting technique for identifying interesting vantage points of perception of parks was the device of penetrating windows - openings in the wall, looking into which one could contemplate landscape, framed in the opening, like a picture in a frame. Sometimes, in order to see all the beauty of the view, it was necessary to look through the penetrating window at a certain moment in time (at sunset, at noon, etc.) and at a certain angle. The gardening art of Japan is similar in its ideological basis to the Chinese one, however, it has a number of differences due to the peculiarities of culture. A park or garden in Japan was intended for solitude, contemplation, quiet contemplation of the natural beauty embodied in the garden composition. Achieving a serene mood in humans was the main goal of the Japanese landscape. The attraction to symbolism is a characteristic feature of the Japanese garden. There you can contemplate a tree with a bizarre crown, reminiscent of the vicissitudes of human life, and an image of a turtle in the form of a certain composition of rocks, and a grouping of stones and trees by seven, five or three, by the way, it is also no coincidence - the calculation is on the imagination of a person who conjectures that or another landscape yourself. For example, smooth sand replaces the water surface, and the mountains - a composition of stones and fragments of rocks. When forming a garden, Japanese masters strive for natural balance, harmony of free and filled spaces, prefer the softness of the general green or gray tones. There is no sculpture in the Japanese garden, its role is played by rocks and stones, and stone lanterns, bridges, and slab paving serve as accents. Popular in the landscape art of Japan is the theory of contrasts, which dates back to the 13th century, which says that there is a contrast of two forces in life - active and passive. In gardening art, it is embodied in the following way: a tall stone is the dominant, active principle, a lying stone is a passive one. And they must be opposed to each other. So, according to the theory of contrasts, a high lantern is certainly placed near a low, spreading tree. Natural complexes of cities were formed in Japan by gardens (or parks) of four main types: · imperial. One of the most famous palace parks is the 10-hectare Katsura Park, built in 1602 on the riverbank on the outskirts of Kyoto (Fig. 19). The park was laid out on flat terrain, and was supplemented by an artificial network of canals and ponds, as well as small hills, for which the excavated soil served as filling. The park is isolated from the surrounding space, so all attention is focused on the interior landscapes. It is used for walking and boat trips. The constant change of pictures harmoniously merges into one another. The leading role is assigned to a wide variety of conifers and shrubs. The walking route is unusually long due to the very winding contours of the shores and islets [6, p. 103] · gardens at monasteries, which include the famous "Rock Garden", located at the monastery temple of Reanji in Kyoto (Fig. 29). The area of this space, enclosed on three sides by a low stone wall, is only 218.8 m 2. Fifteen stones of various shapes are asymmetrically located on the four-lobed area. They are located on a "canvas" of gravel in five groups of two or three stones of different configurations. The veranda of the abbot of the monastery is the only vantage point from which you can look at this garden. From any place, only fourteen stones are always visible, one of which is constantly hidden. Thus, the author of the illusion reflected the idea that “the true reality is hidden from the restless mind. There is nothing growing or withering in the garden. However, he does not appear to be frozen and dead. Depending on the time of year and day, the illumination of the stones, the size of their own shadow and the shadow cast by the walls, as well as the texture of each stone, change. Thanks to these effects, the garden evokes more and more new sensations [6, p. 103] · miniature gardens at residential buildings, which can be laid out a few meters away, but will have all the attributes of a garden - a small pool, trees, paths, natural stones. There are three types of home gardens: for internal household needs - Ke for formal traditional ceremonies - Hare carrying only an aesthetic function - Suki '. Sometimes these functions merge together in one garden - tea ceremony gardens, which came into everyday life from outside the walls of monasteries. The main purpose of the tea garden is to promote self-absorption and concentration, so there was nothing in the tea garden to disturb the calm mood. Its main elements are: a pond for washing, a stone lantern, a well, a path made of stones - what is needed for a tea ceremony. Its hidden meaning is “the development of the subtlest emotional reaction to the natural beauty of nature and works of art” (Fig. 30). The main features of the gardening art of Japan are: symbolism, the use of motives prompted by nature, the inclusion of lakes and water streams in the composition, stones, the use of bansai as small architectural forms, softness of the general tone; nature in a given and predetermined scale, the formation of a garden around a compact symmetrical group of buildings. Thus, unlike the Chinese park construction, where elements of natural complexes of cities were created by improving and aesthetic refinement of beautiful corners of wildlife, Japanese landscape gardening art is based on the reproduction of living nature on a given and predetermined scale. Also in Japan, a garden is formed around a compact, symmetrical group of buildings. Chinese gardens, on the other hand, include symmetrical groups of buildings with an axial structure and courtyards. Interest in Japanese and Chinese landscape art appeared during the period of European acquaintance with these oriental cultures and had a great influence on gardening art in many countries. Its attractive feature is its restraint, sense of proportion and artistic tact that permeate all compositions, large and small, from the vast parks at the imperial palaces to the gardens of tea ceremonies. The Europeans borrowed the skill of Chinese craftsmen to emphasize the natural beauty of nature with the help of natural materials, colors and shapes, as well as the Japanese ability to use small spaces, their sense of proportion and scale. The traditions of oriental gardening art and landscape architecture continue in modern projects of the formation of elements of natural complexes cities. 3. Modern objects of landscape architecture The majority of modern large and largest cities have developed by the present moment, therefore, the formation of new elements of their natural complexes seems to be a rather difficult task. Free spaces, where it is possible to place such traditional elements as parks, squares, gardens, remains less and less in the conditions of constantly dense development. Increasingly, landscape architects and city planners create new, innovative objects that complement the existing natural complex of the city. Reclamation (restoration) of disturbed landscapes is widely carried out, such as quarries for mining, wetlands along river banks, former industrial sites. An example is the "Eden Project" complex, which was built in 2001 in the south-west county of England on the site of an abandoned clay mine. At present, it is a greenhouse, consisting of eight interconnected spheres, the horizontal dimensional characteristics of which make it possible to form landscapes illuminated by the sun in the interior space, and the height of the domes allows growing trees of the tropical climatic zone (Fig. 31). The main difficulty during the construction was the placement of the greenhouse on the site of the former mine. Such problems as the thin layer of fertile soil, its poor quality, and uneven ground surface arose. In order to solve these problems, a complete reclamation of land was carried out throughout the territory of the former clay mine by bringing in about two million tons of fertile soil, which made it possible to raise the level by twenty meters and create conditions for the formation of full-fledged biotopes . Ten years after its opening, the Eden Project is one of the landmarks of England. A tourist complex has been formed on its territory, including hotels, restaurants, trade and exhibition halls. Also, the employees of the greenhouse conduct research activities, and regularly hold scientific and practical conferences and seminars devoted to such problems as the preservation of biological diversity, the formation of sustainable natural complexes on the territory of large and largest cities. Thus, thanks to the renaturalization of the depleted industrial area, its further use became possible. Similar projects are being implemented not only in Europe, but also in China. In 2008, a park was established in the coastal area of the Tang River (in the Chinese city of Qinhuandao), which was a wetland with a large number of unauthorized household waste dumps before the renaturalization activities. It is now a cultivated natural complex on both sides of the river, which includes flower gardens, pavilions, a teahouse, as well as a boat station, bike paths and parking (Fig. 32). After water purification, debris removal and land reclamation, the city received an extensive parkland. Minimal interference with the existing natural environment and the formation of park spaces on its basis (some of which are intended for active recreation, and some are secluded glades, lost in the forest and intended for reflection and contemplation of nature) allowed transforming inconvenience into an object of recreation . The urban landscape is subject to constant changes: buildings and structures, roads and communications are being built, parks and squares are being set up, flower beds are being broken, etc. New needs appear, which can be satisfied both through the development of new territories, which leads to the expansion of the city boundaries and urbanization of the surrounding landscapes, and through the reconstruction and re-profiling of existing objects, the function of which is not in demand at the moment. One of the most striking examples of this approach is reconstruction of a railroad overpass in a busy New York area - Manhattan (Fig. 33). The location of a large passenger and cargo port on its territory led to the presence of vast spaces occupied by warehouses and transport corridors, some of which were designed in the form of railway overpasses. However, by the 1980s, the operation of such facilities was discontinued due to the emergence of new transportation technologies. Photographer Joel Strenford breathed new life into one of them, who noticed that nature gradually began to restore an urbanized space abandoned by man. This led him to think about the possibility of reconstructing the old flyover into a picturesque walking area, which offers a beautiful view of the districts of Manhattan, the bay and the nearby park. Landscape architect James Corner has been bringing this idea to life for several years, and in 2009 the High Line Park opened. Grasses and bushes were planted on the surface of the overpass, in places making their way through concrete strips, which emphasizes the idea of nature's return to the spaces once taken from it by humans. The sections of the rails were included in the overall composition as a reminder of the purely utilitarian original purpose of such a picturesque (currently) object. The linearity of the structure was emphasized by additional techniques, thanks to which the visitors' desire to walk this path from start to finish is formed (Fig. 4). Nowadays, looking at the rich colors of flowers, shrubs and grasses, it is impossible to imagine that this place was once a collection of rusty rails and concrete supports crumbling from time to time . In modern architecture, there is a desire to expand the boundaries of external and internal space or completely erase them.It is no longer objects, but spaces that are the subject of design and comprehension: landscape architecture dominates the architecture of one building (or a complex of buildings). In the context of these trends, the renaturalization of urbanized territories is carried out by subordinating the shape of the building, its number of storeys and other parameters to the existing natural landscape, taking into account the minimal disturbance of the existing biotopes and / or their reconstruction after the completion of construction. The method described above for the formation of innovative elements of the natural complex of the city was used when designed by architect Dominique Perrault of the Ewha Womans University in Korea (Fig. 34). When carrying out the reconstruction project, the main task was to place additional space. The architect proposed to allocate a site for construction, located almost in the very center of the university campus (on the site of the existing site for athletics), and in order to limit the degree of destruction of the existing landscape, arrange all the premises underground. The intervention in the relief was limited to the fact that a channel 250 m long and 25 m wide was dug on a gentle slope, the vertical planes of which were made in the form of glass walls (Fig. 34). This made it possible to fill the premises with natural light, to expand their boundaries by visual integration with the environment .

In the conditions of cramped urban development, the buildings and structures themselves are transformed into elements of the natural complex by ensuring their bio-positivity. Bio-positivity is understood as the creation of the possibility of existence on the surface of buildings and structures of plants and representatives of the animal world . The methods of achieving bio-positivity include: · greening of roofs (Fig. 35), widespread in the USA, where about ten different systems of "green roof" are patented, in Germany, where about 14% of all roofs are greened, and in other countries

New bestseller by the famous French writer! For the first time in Russian! "For 7 years I thought and matured. I wanted to write a book free from any restrictions, and it seems that I succeeded." B. Werber What if not the most sophisticated, but the most brutal civilizations have left their mark on human history? After all, if you look closely, the disappeared cultures were not necessarily the most undeveloped.
Sometimes, in order to shake the fate of an entire people, a naive leader is enough, whom the enemies have deceived with promises of peace, or unforeseen weather conditions that change the course of the battle. The victor's historians then rewrite the past of the defeated at their own discretion in order to justify their destruction.
And in order to deprive the next generations of any doubts, the debate is closed with the formula "woe to the vanquished." Darwin even found a scientific justification for these murders - "natural selection" and the theory of "survival of the fittest." This is how the history of people on Earth, on mountains of corpses and forgotten betrayals, was created.
Who saw this? Who knows for sure? I found only one answer: God or gods, provided, of course, that he or they exist. I tried to imagine these inconspicuous witnesses. Gods who study swarming humanity in the manner of entomologists watching ants.
If gods exist, what kind of education did they receive? Everything is developing. How did they go from youth to adulthood? How do they interfere with the course of events? Why are they interested in us? I looked for answers in sacred texts, from the Tibetan "Book of the Dead" to the Egyptian "Book of the Dead", not missing shamanism and the great cosmogony of the peoples of five continents.
All of them provide information that only very rarely contradicts each other. As if there was a collective understanding of the vastness and rules of the cosmic game that are superior to us. Philosophy and science have always been in opposition, but for me they are united in what can be called "secular spirituality."
The questions are more important here than the answers. For the rest, I gave complete freedom to the imagination. From my point of view, the book "We, the Gods" is a natural continuation of "Thanatonauts" and "Empire of Angels". After the conquest of Paradise and the discovery of the world of angels, it is logical that the gods will have a higher level of development ... That is why Michelle Panson, like his strange friend Raul Razorbak, Freddie Meyer, Marilyn Monroe, all former Thanatonauts and former angels united by the slogan “Love is like a sword , humor as a shield ”is here again.
I allowed myself to be carried away into this imaginary world, as if into a waking dream. At night, I continued to relive some of the scenes. I worked listening to music for films, in particular, The Lord of the Rings, Dune and Jonathan Livingston The Seagull. To this were added nine Beethoven symphonies, works by Mozart, Grieg, Debussy, Bach, Samuel Barber and the Planet Symphony by Gustave Holst - in terms of classical music, from rock - Michael Oldfield, Peter Gabriel, Yes, Pink Floyd.
When I told my publisher about this project, he greeted such a creation with enthusiasm. As a result - more than a thousand pages, which will amount to three volumes. At the end of the initiatory search for my hero - a meeting with the Creator of the Universe. So, maybe you also ask yourself the question: "And if I were in the place of God, what would I do?" Bernard Werber.
This book provides a general idea of the reconstruction of history proposed by the authors on the basis of the New Chronology, and also discusses a number of new important issues related to this reconstruction. The book presents mainly new results obtained by the authors recently.
Much space is devoted to a new look at the "ancient" god of war Mars (Ares). It turns out that in the Holy Scriptures Joseph, the husband of the Virgin Mary, corresponds to him. He is George the Victorious, he is the Egyptian god Horus. The book does not require special knowledge from the reader and is intended for everyone who is interested in history and chronology.
It all started with a letter ... Amon, named after the Egyptian sun god by his parents, found it in his mailbox. In the letter, someone who signed "Shadow" promised to follow him until the right moment for revenge came.
Amon was not scared. He was sure that his "shadow" was harmless ... Lada, who lives next door, also read the letter. And she decided that the message was addressed to her, but it got into Amon's box by mistake. Lada got scared. Because the one who wanted to take revenge on her was a very dangerous person ... Soon, Amon's friend was killed, and Lada's friend was attacked.
Who did it? Whose shadow began to take revenge?

“... Then, going down to the lake, she called out: - Sob! Sob! Sob! At the other end of the lake, water gurgled, and, sticking out of it a glossy black, like mud, head, swiftly swam to the call of a huge, eight elbows long, crocodile, an animal of the god Sobek, the Midnight Sun. Copper rings with bells glittered on his front paws, earrings in his ears, and instead of a stolen ruby, a red glass was inserted into the thick skin of his skull.
He was so tame that he let himself brush his teeth with acacia charcoal. He crawled out of the water onto the stairs and stretched out at the priestess's feet. Squatting, she fed him meat and honey cakes brought by Zenra, fearlessly thrusting her left hand into the gaping mouth of the beast, only a stump remained from her right hand: it was bitten off by a crocodile when she was still a girl.
Myths of Ancient Egypt.Secrets of the gods and a great civilization
Ancient Egypt ... It seems so mysterious, distant and exotic. Numerous archaeological expeditions from the 18th century have found evidence of the greatness of this civilization. Statues, obelisks, massive columns, bas-reliefs, jewelry of stunning beauty, tombs richly painted with amazingly beautiful frescoes ... But all this remained dead and incomprehensible until scientists finally managed to decipher the inscription on the Rosetta stone.
Since then, everything has changed. The ancient Egyptians found a voice, and all the amazing images began to take on meaning. People learned about the gods, pharaohs and the amazing beliefs of the Egyptians not in the retelling of ancient Greek historians, but, so to speak, from the first hand. Our book will acquaint the reader with the most basic myths and legends, give an idea of the pantheon of the most popular Egyptian deities and try to lift the veil over the symbols that were part of the daily life of a resident of the country of Ta-Kemet.
100 Great Mysteries of Fleet History
The sun barge of the Egyptian god Ra, illuminated by unearthly radiance, and the harsh "lodges" of the Russian Pomors, tea clippers flying over the waves faster than the steamships of the long-suffering Columbus caravels and snow-white ocean liners of our days: all this is the fleet, its history, romantic and beautiful.
In this book, you will find unsolved secrets of sea disasters and battles, the discovery of Antarctica and the epic "Chelyuskin". Together with the author, you will go from a "hidden ship" - a wooden submarine built by a Russian carpenter three centuries ago, to nuclear submarines and diving planes, to underwater hotels and floating islands in the near future ...
Myths of Ancient Egypt - in verse! Poetry is the most beautiful and perhaps the most suitable genre for retelling myths. Poetry, like myth, is an allegory, and an allegory is almost the only way to speak truthfully about the divine. It is not for nothing that the ancient legends of many peoples are known to us precisely in poetic form.
Deeply symbolic Egyptian mythology finds a kind of poetic expression in the elegantly folded poem "The Gods of Ancient Egypt".
The book of the famous philosopher-neoplatonist Iamblichus (c. 242-306) is devoted to the life and teachings of Pythagoras - one of the most mysterious philosophers, mystics and sages of Ancient Greece. “… - Yes, the talisman saved everything from everything, - he spoke again, - from fire, from poison, from the beast from one thing… - From what? She asked. He did not answer, and she understood: "From you." Both were wrapped in animal skins: he was in red, lion skins, with a mouth on his head instead of a helmet, she was in a gray-haired, wolf-like, with a weasel's helmet.
Both have hunting spears in their hands, bows and quivers behind their backs. It was difficult to find out who the man is, who the woman is. Throwing the lion's mouth from his head, he brought his hand to his neck. - Does it hurt? She asked. - Not really. What a wound - a scratch! Once the whelped lioness lifted the claw mark and is now on her back.Well, yes, I was stronger then, younger ... ".
Tablets of the immortal gods
The high priest of the temple of the god Ra Nektaneb was seriously concerned: the increasing cases of plundering of the tombs of the pharaohs and priests led him to the idea that a great ancient shrine - the Tablets of the Immortals - was in danger. To prevent them from falling into the hands of the uninitiated, Nektaneb and the High Priest of the Temple of Seta Saure divided the tablets and, choosing the most loyal people as the guardians, took the relic from Egypt ... Kasia Kuznetsova, by the will of fate, witnessed the discovery of the burial of the Khazar Khagan Bulan.
In the hands of the deceased, a casket with tablets made of incomprehensible material was firmly clamped. This connection of events is described in the book.
The road up the Nile attracts not only archaeologists and treasure hunters. "
Probably, this is what an ideal folk hero should be - both in the 13th century, when the Story of the Life of Alexander Nevsky was written, and in the 21st century, when the holy noble Prince Alexander was named “The Name of Russia” at an all-Russian competition. Everyone knows about Alexander Nevsky (1221-1263) - the commander.
1242, spring, Lake Peipsi covered with ice, Livonian knights in armor from head to toe - terrible and invincible, living in war and for the sake of war. And then - a fierce battle on thin spring ice, and the victory of Alexander's troops. Familiar images from childhood: Alexander Nevsky is a great warrior who has not lost a single battle, a standard of a commander, an icon of the Russian army.
Nevsky the ruler is much less known. But in this field he also had to work hard - to seek and find compromises, to be tough, and sometimes cruel, suppressing riots. But cruelty alone at that time was difficult to stay on the princely throne.
Chroniclers and historians note that the reign of Alexander was prudent and far-sighted, and it is no coincidence that his reign in Veliky Novgorod, and then in Kiev, was called "Great". Alexander Nevsky also had one more hypostasis - diplomatic. Some sources report about this side of his activities in a somewhat apologetic tone, and some even criticize: they say, he made an alliance with the Tatar-Mongols, brought them to Russia.
But in reality, the deeds of Nevsky as a diplomat meant no less for Russia than the deeds of Nevsky as a commander. After all, Prince Alexander cannot be reproached for cowardice. So maybe the alliance with the Tatar-Mongols is not a mistake, not a defeat, but a brilliant move of a wise politician and diplomat, capable of making a difficult but necessary alliance? Prince Alexander Yaroslavich Nevsky had to rule and fight at one of the most difficult and turning points in the history of Russia.
During his short life, the prince, according to the chronicles, fought at least 12 battles with the Swedes, Germans and other invaders and won all of them. "The observance of the Russian land," says the famous historian Sergei Soloviev, "from the misfortune in the east, the famous feats for faith and land in the west, brought Alexander a glorious memory in Russia and made him the most prominent historical person in ancient history from Monomakh to the Donskoy."
In the chronicle legend that has come down to us about his exploits, it is said that he was "born by God." For these and other acts, Alexander Nevsky was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church.Streets, lanes and squares are named after Alexander Nevsky. Orthodox churches are dedicated to him, he is the heavenly patron of St. Petersburg.
But at the same time, the holy noble Prince Alexander Nevsky is a typical example of a historical personality, about whom everyone knows, but the amount of this knowledge is very small. Meanwhile, both the prince's contemporaries and descendants wrote about the great commander and ruler of the Russian land. The testimonies of contemporaries and the works of famous historians collected in this book, as well as numerous illustrations, will help the reader to better learn not only about the Grand Duke Alexander Yaroslavich, but also about what happened in the middle of the 13th century - in one of the most difficult periods of Russian history.

Many new results obtained by the authors in 2012–2014 are presented for the first time.
The story "Ankh" is based on the history of an ancient Egyptian settlement on the banks of the river Eter. The night sky of the valley is illuminated by a bright flash from the fall of a celestial body. And three days later, a group of travelers in strange white robes visit the people. The inhabitants of the Black Land settlement call their guests "great gods" and invite them to settle in the Osirion temple - a majestic monument of the former civilization.
Three women, one of whom is due to give birth soon, and the third is too young for a long journey. Two young men. And two men of venerable years. What is the common goal that binds these mysterious travelers? And what will force them to linger for many years among the hot sands and teach important knowledge and wisdom to unremarkable villagers? What trials will the guests face and will they all be able to safely return to where they came from? In the descriptions of all events, the author uses well-known archaeological finds - architectural monuments, objects of worship and everyday life.
And also the heritage of folklore - myths, fairy tales, rituals, omens, proverbs and sayings of the peoples of Ancient Egypt. All this makes the plot admissibly real, historically interesting and philosophically instructive. And, of course, the imagination of the thoughtful reader of the story will not leave indifferent.
The book is dedicated to the riddles and wonders of the Old and New Testaments. Indeed, from the point of view of common sense, it is very difficult to understand how, for example, during six days God created the Universe, the Earth, flora and fauna, and, most importantly, man. The Egyptian executions, and the parting sea waters during the flight of the Jews from Egypt, and the miracles of Moses in the desert, and the fall of the walls of Jericho seem mysterious.
The New Testament holds no less secrets. To this day, not only the birth of Jesus, but also the youthful years of His life, His appearance, His Resurrection remains a secret secret for the readers of the Bible. The author tried to present various, including scientific, interpretations of biblical miracles and mysteries.

Memorable legends about the asceticism of the saints and blessed fathers
The collection of legends about the saints and blessed fathers of the Church is an invaluable monument of Christian piety in the first centuries of Christianity. Examples from the life of such pillars of the Church as Anthony the Great, Macarius of Egypt, Pimen the Great and many other ascetics who inhabited the desert of Egypt and Palestine in the 4th and 5th centuries, taught many generations of Christians the exact fulfillment of the Gospel commandments, selfless love for God, contempt for temporary blessings and the pursuit of eternal life.
In this small play, the gods of Ancient Egypt become an allegorical embodiment of society at the beginning of the 20th century. Cynically and cruelly they judge those who dared to go beyond the established order - and it doesn't matter what the goal was ... All the condemned will meet with Sekhet, the Egyptian Demiurge, whose motto is: "Punish the guilty and eliminate desecration."
But who is defiled in the modern world: the accused or the accusers? And who really deserves to be punished?
Ecclesiastes. Song of Songs. Proverbs
Solomon the Wise was famous for his subtlety of mind and unusual judgments. Many legends are associated with his name, and his statements entered the treasury of world aphoristics (All vanity is vanity And it will pass Time to scatter stones and time to collect stones Who multiplies knowledge multiplies sadness and many others).
Solomon is believed to be the author of three books of the Old Testament. "ECCLESIAST" is a philosophical understanding of various aspects of life. "SOLOMON'S PARABLES" - instructions from a father to his son, covering a variety of moral and social phenomena. "SONG OF SONGS" - the greatest work of the world's love lyrics, occupying a very special place in the Bible.
Solomon the Wise (Hebrew Shlomo - "peace", also referred to as Jedidiah - "beloved of God") - the son of King David and the last king of the one kingdom of Israel [reign: about 965 - 935 years. BC e. ] - depicted in the Old Testament books by the greatest sage of all time, the hero of many legends.
Already at the birth of Solomon, “the Lord loved him,” and David appointed him heir to the throne, bypassing his eldest sons. God, who appeared to Solomon in a dream and promised to fulfill his every desire, Solomon asked to give him "a reasonable heart to judge the people."
And because he did not ask for any earthly blessings, Solomon was endowed not only with wisdom, but also with unprecedented wealth. The fame of Solomon's wisdom spread throughout the world. From distant lands they came to Jerusalem to look at the king and listen to him.
The Queen of Sheba, having heard about the glory of Solomon, came to test him with riddles. Convinced of his wisdom, she said: "Blessed be the Lord your God, who deigned to put you on the throne of the Israelites!" Solomon's reign was a golden age for Israel, whose wealth and power reached unprecedented heights.
Having strengthened Jerusalem and a number of other cities, Solomon strengthened the political power of his kingdom by concluding trade agreements with neighboring states, building a merchant fleet and sending ships to distant countries, he strengthened it economically, and by dividing the country into regions ruled by his governors, he streamlined his administrative system. ...
Solomon was closely allied with Egypt and Phenicia. Until the last years of his life, the main wife of Solomon was an Egyptian princess. Solomon erected the Jerusalem Temple, which became a shrine for the Jewish people and a historical symbol of religious glory. As a punishment for the fact that Solomon took many foreign wives, allowed them to practice pagan cults, and even in his old age bowed to “other gods”, Solomon's kingdom after his death split into two warring halves - Judah and Israel.
The son of Solomon, Rehoboam, became the ruler of Judea, which included two tribes, and Jeroboam, the ruler of Israel, consisting of ten tribes. Legends about King Solomon are also known in the Islamic tradition. In the Quran, Solomon (Suleiman) - not only the heir of David, but also the faithful servant of Allah - was endowed with the greatest wisdom, understood the language of birds and commanded the winds and spirits.
Arthur Weigall, who took part in excavations in Egypt, avoiding preconceived estimates and unverified opinions, offers a fascinating and most complete biography of the Egyptian pharaoh Amenhotep IV, who went down in history as a religious reformer.
Having established the cult of the one god Aton, he took the name Akhenaten - "pleasing to Aton."
This book is for romantic hearts who know how to experience with the heroes of the novel all the adventures that take place in the course of the narrative. The book of the famous French popularizer of science A. Moret is of great interest both for specialists in Ancient Egypt and for those who are fond of the history and culture of this ancient country. Although the book was written almost a hundred years ago, the latest theories and discoveries have not invalidated the work of its author.
